Hey Everyone,
this video shows me setting up my new printer and HP Officejet Pro 9015e. a lot of good reviews but also more than a few disgruntled negative reviews documenting how if you go through the online software setup for the printer that the software is not the best, very buggy.
If you sign up for the HP Plus and 6 months of "free" ink promotion that it comes with, many of you reported how if you cancel your subscription early that HP will brick the printer, and the lack of compatibility with aftermarket ink cartridges. Time will tell how things go when I need to change out the ink cartridges for the first time with an aftermarket set. I may have shot myself in the foot for that even though I disabled the automatic firmware update feature.

Appreciate the enlightenment video it was very helpful! I to am one of the individuals that has been dealing with HP bull crap in regards to the instant ink subscription, such a rip off so now I’m trying to by pass them. Have u used any aftermarket ink in the printer yet? And is it printing just fine with it. If so I think ima reset my printer and do exactly what u did! Please let me know and thanks in advance.
Still using the original OEM cartridges. I usually get remanufactured ink cartridges. I'll post here if I have a problem.
what is the glass slot on the left side of the scanning glass!!??
That is where the Scan light goes for the document feeder above
