@@ArrangedKarma tbh the broken stuff was sometimes the most fun parts of pd2 on the flipside, it might mean that starbreeze's attempt to return to pdth's more grounded style with 3 will fail, but at the same time, balance jank is practically part of pd's identity at this point lol
I love the throwback to PSA:FAKs I'm surprised they decided to add a more broken health mechanic, they could've just added clean slate, adaptive armor and improve on the armor kits drop rate/chance to double down on their "armor is sooo important that it doesn't regen" mechanic and make it somewhat fun
So if they're trying to fix payday 3, when are we getting a noise update? Little Dallas needs a gremlin friend and the noise is no stranger to stacking bodies and bills.
Personally, I don't care about fortitude, and even think it can have a couple negative impacts. My main problem with adrenaline is it's temporary nature, you're spending resources and eventually they'll run run out and you'll have nothing, and unlike armor, adrenaline will always decay passively by just existing, maybe it isn't that bad, but it isn't for me, I like more permanent things. Another problem is the way it makes your teammates just gobble everything health related in the heist, and if stuff goes south later, there's no health anywhere because it was spent on fortitude (I know that heists filled with civs that you can trade sort of fixes this issue, but it isn't every heist and even then they can still be really greedy). One good use of fortitude is pseudo dodge for needing to get shit done, like contest a dangerous objective or heal a teammate that you can't afford to go into custody, I think that's a good use, but I don't like the idea of getting adrenaline just for the sake of it. I would prefer adrenaline as a rechargeable item, kinda like the kingpin injector, but balanced out enough so that it isn't overpowered.
It doesnt have to compile shaders on startup everytime unless you're clearing your shader cache, everytime afterwards it will just load the pre-cached shaders.
This PSA was so top-notch as always, it almost made me think Payday 3 was a solid product
