It makes life so much easier and the performance is so high, if I wasn’t like this for a job, honestly something like this would be so great and a nice set up in the living room
Damn, sounds like a good system if you want something simple. Maybe if I start a new system I will just go with this one. My current Headphone rig is over $30k now. :/
30k?!? I would love to hear what constitutes a 30k system! I have Meze Elites, Clear MG pros and an RME ADI 2 FS and I already feel like I have overdone everything lmao
This is the system that's perfect should you be lucky enough to stumble onto it at the beginning of your audio journey. Realistically though by the point many hifi enthusists find it they've already been through so much gear that something like price-to-performance is so difficult to calculate as to be irrelevant considering how much gear has been bought and/or sold over the years.
I genuinely love this analysis, and it’s a fantastic angle to come at it from, but I will rebuttal in this way I think for actual performance and reducing big black boxes, also depending on how much Real Estate you’ve got on your desk or some people like to consolidate a lot of the equipment into one as well. These are the areas we are truly shines
I know you have not review it , but hifiman he1000 v2 stealth is on discount (1400 usd) + a 4600 amp dac system (im thinking cayin ha6 witch holo spring) probably will fight !
Ordered the Bravura special edition based on your review. They do sound mediocre in my opinion. I did a few blind tests with multiple people and no one could pinpoint the warwick or guess its price, most were not that impressed. Me neither because the clamping force is way too much. I can't wear them for more than half an hour without getting an uncomfortable feeling. Even if that problem gets better over time they are still not a comfortable pair, compared to other flagships, hence I sadly have to return them. Still a great informative review from you, sound is subjective after all, keep it up!
My advice, give them time a couple of hundred hours. second of all I did state in the review, for small shaped heads. It could be a problem if the arms are not extended clamp force could be tight. Thank you I appreciate it, and believe me when I tell you, it’s been put up again, some of the best equipment in the industry during testing. Just look at some of the public posts on this channel that I shared and you’ll see what’s on the desk 🔝
Hmmm… intriguing. I actually returned my LCD-5’s because, although I loved how resolving they were, they just too “shouty” in the upper mids for my taste and I was not content with eq options. Right now I’m running Susvara on Bliss, not sure if this would be an upgrade or simply lateral move? I love everything about Susvara+bliss but wouldn’t mind a smidge more bass.
@@aceofspades6667 that’s what I thought too and bought them… but ultimately returned them because they couldn’t match the resolution and soundstage of the Susvaras, even though I did enjoy their warm midrange and mid bass kick.

SUS on top of the line chains is unbelievable But you will never be able to make SUS sound this good, including the headphones with $6000 In fact you can’t buy the SUS It’s 6K by itself, even if you get a good price at the dealer for 4.5 you’re still limited by the rest of your money for the chain 😃

Does the bravura also have that ethereal effect in the upper mids and treble region?
It's interesting that you found these to be punchier than the Susvara, unless it's because of the chain you used the Sus on.
