Well, we got an SDCS and a Converge, so HOPEFULLY soon. I want to say this is the first CS kit we don't have a normal release of, and I'm pretty sure only the Nightingale doesn't have an HG release.
I know that rhinestone was used in the old MG Shining Gundam for the green gem in his chest, so it isn't a new concept. I do agree though, this used with more mono eye kits would be a very welcome change! ^.^
As an SD fan, I am really glad that you really tried building one (aside from the Zeromaru of course). I know that master builders like you guys out there can build an SD kit in a sneeze, but for us busy dudes, this is our quick fix. Like a quick scratch when you're itching to build something. I hope more people should try building one next. Hoping to see some SD Sangoku Soketsuden contents here as well in the future. :)
The SDCS are my favorite SD kits by far. Also, we need proper proportion kits of allllllll the unique SD kits. Maybe like a "HGBF" style line to start :P
The SDCS Nightingale actually came with a clear, green plastic piece for the mono-eye. Personally, I'm loving the SDCS line and you should definitely get a CS frame at some point, it can really make a difference!
These kits surprised me. I had a really bad impression of SD kits but when I tried these I found myself hooked. The cross silhouette proportions are so much better too.
I picked one of these up last week, hunting locally for the CS inner frame kit (Grey) so I can give it the proper proportions. I've built tons of SD kits over the years, but I really really like the new SDCS line. The Granddad Gundam, and Zaku II kits are some of the best bar none. Almost no stickers for the Gundam, and the Zaku just had the mono eye. Just a fantastic line that, beyond the Zeromarus, aren't plagued with the sticker HIV.
The old 1990s Gundam Wing HG 1/100 kits Wing Gundam (chest), Shenlong (shoulders), Epyon (chest), and Wing Zero (chest) all have that kind of gem like piece or pieces on their bodies.
Can't think of any SDs that use that type of gem sticker, but Bandai has used them before with the old HG 1/100 Wing Gundam, and I think the 1/100 Serpent as well.
Have you ever done a "what you need to know" for gunpla? I want to get into gunpla building but I don't know what I should or need to know. I'd really like to see you make a video on the topic if you haven't
Those jem stickers do look good. My old Wing Gundam has one on its chest and it does a really good job at catching the light. I really do mean the old version of the HG Wing Gundam, I've seen the box of the refresh and it's not the same. The old version has pieces that are painted old while the refresh uses yellow plastic.
If no one's told you the other frame makes the kit little bit bigger and it gives it a lot more posability it basically gives it a been at the arms and a Bend of the legs
You need a CS frame for this. While Bandai sells them (and apparently a booster pack) separately, you already have one on the RX-Zeromaru, which comes with a green CS frame, but no SD frame. And yeah, the stickers for the Zeromaru are numerous and a right pain to use, but it looks so much better painted or stickered up. Luckily this thing doesn't seem to need that many stickers. And the jewelled sticker for the eye seems unique.
The camera stickers are even more required here than on hg. Usually, the heads are small enough that you can ignore it. But here? Good lord, the camera area is practically a billboard.
The problem with certain SDCS kits, is that the CS frame joints are either too tight or too loose. The neck joint keeps on snapping, that happened to me twice. and the leg joints on the CS frame just LOVE popping off.
Sdcs kits are pretty great, especially with the Cs frame (shame they don't just come with that by default). Ive got them all so far(aside from the sisquiede(s) and ground gundam which just came out) and I think the zaku is by far my favorite (surprised no chars zaku yet)
I love the sisquiede design and would love a master grade and high grade but I want the a high grade and master grade of the zanspine if no one knows what it is I recommend you guys look up what it is.
and sadly im crazy enough that im wanting to attempt stickering up the tokyo base limited version of the zeromaru as well (its the evil black armored version)
Yeah, the SDCS kits have pretty nice color seperation. Hoping we get the Sisquede in full release, but the gun is gonna have as much plastic as a full SDCS kit on its own. XD
Sisquede is my favorite Gundam. The launcher is definetly the most fun part about it. I am kind of upset that they didn't give it full-powered Beam Sabers for it's Offense Mode.
Because of reasons. Just kidding. It's because Anaheim Electronics, after One Year War, absorbed a company that used to make Zakus for Zeon and used that technology to make suits for Federation. As for Titans colors of Hizacks... They use green like Zakus probably to look like Zeon. It's easier to strike down your opponent if he thinks you're one of his comrades. And I guess it sometimes happened in a heat of a battle. I mean mistaking a Hizack as Zaku.
Maciej Adamiak In summary, Anaheim Electronics bought Zeonic after the OYW, which is why there are ex-Zeon engineers resulting to Zeon-like MS production like the Dijeh. And also, psychological warfare making Neo-Zeon think it is one of theirs until the Gryps Conflict.
The monoeye sticker and beam effect parts are only for the sisquiede as far as I know. I'm not sure if the Zaku has the monoeye sticker as I don't have it. I do have most the other SDxCS gundam kits and just built the SDxCS ground type. for being an SD its amazing, I'm really loving the SDxCS kits. I feel that sometimes the SDxCS kits are better then HG kits as even small parts detail are its own separate pieces, such as the yellow vent on the ground type is its own part. Tho in the end they cheap out a bit with no color on the weapons as they are just dark gray plastic. Overall I am happy with these kits and are worth it, even more so if you get the frame as it a bit more articulation. Get white gundam kits or if you don't mind seeing the gray for the thighs. You could aslo get both color frames and mix and match so you have the gray fram showing for joints and white for the thighs ans other white showing color accuracy. I did buy both the Titans ans A.U.G.E. colors of this SDxCS kit with frames.
If you want to see what it's like in the expanded frame form just harvest the frame from the Zeromaru. It has a full CS frame with it. Also for a bit of funny get an SDCS zaku 2 and a mega size zaku 2. The difference is hilarious.
I know the stickers look bad oftentimes, but in future videos I'd appreciate seeing what they look like on the kit even if you tear them off and chuck them in an incinerator afterwards.
Little call out, standard beam sabers for other grades, but these are non-standard effect parts for SD's, beam sabers are typically cast as a single piece. Example: recent CS SD Phenex www.dalong.net/review/sd/cs07/p/cs07_13.jpg
Thanks for the info. A few people have mentioned this. Just bust open the zeromaru box and you’re right. It is red though (or green depending on the kit). The ground Gundam is on its way so I’ll give it a go!
I'd buy it as an HG, if it had slimmer legs or maybe if the suit is more proportionate to the legs than how it really is. it just looks chunky since the legs may hinder it
If you like the gun. Youll like it more when ya knows it should be bigger than the Gundam. If it was proper proportions the gun would be about 1.5 times the height of the MS
0:45 Is that the RX-Zeromaru? The over-reliance on stickers is one of the major turn-offs for me when it comes to SDs. The fact that the stickers tend to be garbage that peels easily doesn't help. Out of what i own; Hadou Musha Mazaku has it the worst due to his age.
I would buy the SDs still man with every purchase bandai probably would be more open to making the sisquiede in other lines, so if ya really want a rg to ever happen show bandai your support for the ms
Man that monoeye sticker looks AMAZING I really hope Bandai put that in more kits
Me too especially on the Char Zaku II
I agree, they should do that for all eyes, just make them little gem stickers
Yeah that monoeye needs to be on all zeon model kits because it looks great.
It's not a sticker that's why lol, it's a clear pink gem
Bandai did give those in older kits like the Wing line back in 90s. Surprisingly they bring this back in modern kits.
I really hope we get an HG of the Sisquiede.
Well, we got an SDCS and a Converge, so HOPEFULLY soon. I want to say this is the first CS kit we don't have a normal release of, and I'm pretty sure only the Nightingale doesn't have an HG release.
There is a P-bandai Sisquiede coming out soon, but I'm not sure whether it is a HG kit or not.

It’s the only mono eye that comes with a rim stone that I’m aware of. I can’t wait until I get mine. Looks awesome buddy 🤙
SDCS Zaku II also comes with a really nice combination of a sticker and a lens that looks really good.
do you mean rhinestone?
Yea gotta love the autocorrect. Besides who knows what we could benefit from a rim stone 🙃. Thanks
I know that rhinestone was used in the old MG Shining Gundam for the green gem in his chest, so it isn't a new concept. I do agree though, this used with more mono eye kits would be a very welcome change! ^.^
@@TheKnight11563 Also the old MG God Gundam for the chest.
in SD Gundam G Generations the Sisquiede has been a life saver in some missions!
can confirm. it's also my favorite MS to use in game.

The SDCS are my favorite SD kits by far.
Also, we need proper proportion kits of allllllll the unique SD kits. Maybe like a "HGBF" style line to start :P
I would adore a proper proportion phoenix gundam, phoenix zero, halphas or ggv-000 barbatos.
Bandai make it happen pls.

Mecha Gaikotsu: Reviews SDCS
Me: It's about damn time!! 😎
When you buy the CS frame, after you build it, you will be amazed by its articulation.
We're getting standard proportions, but it's a tiny figure. I REALLY want a HG of this guy
There's also the fact that it's P-Bandai
Buying the SD could up the likeliness of a hg....
There's already an HG pbandai preorder.
@@vie3147 that's a G-FRAME figure not a hg or a kit at all
Jetfire48 Ah yes, sorry my mistake. I have preorder it like one possessed by a demon and didn't even noticed it, lol. It's quite cheap in asia.

The jewel style stickers go back to the 1/100 Wing kits from the 90's
Also the god gundam came with one
The old MG GM Sniper also comes with a similar gem sticker for the scope of its sniper rifle
If no one's told you the other frame makes the kit little bit bigger and it gives it a lot more posability it basically gives it a been at the arms and a Bend of the legs

Mhmm
The MG Dom had a gem as well but it attached to the beam bazooka, with the mono eye only having a clear piece and a pink sticker
Speaking from building a couple SD gunpla the zaku comes with the jem eye it is seen in most of them

Seconded.
I love the sisquiede design and would love a master grade and high grade but I want the a high grade and master grade of the zanspine if no one knows what it is I recommend you guys look up what it is.

I would highly advise getting one of the CS frames for it. going from SD to SRW proportions really does improve this kit by a large margin.

we need a proper HG of this MS.
I prefer high grades over master grades.
Black Comet2nd they’re cheaper, but there not as detailed, but gladly both sometimes are the same scale
High grade and real grade cause most times master grades are too big for my liking

@@emperorbennett2047 i like master grades more cause hgs are too small to my liking.
