All-right I found the extended play edition and then it got a rain delay Glad to see the Mrs retrieved your body from the woods ! Always enjoy these as its a nice break from my routine to have a bit of a look at places I’ve not been to. Looking forward to more !!! May your journeys be adventures and your havens safe
Good morning sir! Yeah, she doesn’t leave me out too long lol! I’m headed out soon to finish this all up if I get a chance. These smaller hikes are part of a bigger project to be announced some time in April if everything goes according to plan lol. Glad you found it, now if RUclips can put the short where it belongs LOL! Hope all is well. All the best, Gary.
Hey Tom, I should add the link. It is part of the patch challenge series and I didn’t update the video description when I got it all uploaded. Thank you for reminding me. I’ll get that done asap!
OMG what a great new video guys, we definately need to discover that part of the country :) We really appreciate it as always. Have a nice day - ADM Team :)
Well now, every time there’s a great adventure to be had, it seems that Gary's sure to "turnip"! lol Great to have a good friend to talk to and share the experience. Otis is good, but not a great conversationalist! Always great while it lasts, but now there is more left for next time! Take good care now...Bruce and Otis
Otis is a great listener I bet and besides you can sit and pet him, you should see the look I get when I try that! 🤣 Next time may be a bit out, no video next week but soon hopefully! All the best Bruce and extend that arm to Mr. Otis and give some pats from me. 🙂
I think possibly that clear cut was done by Ct. DEEP for New England Cottontail habitat; or at least some have been created around the state. Those bunnies need lots of early succession brushy habitat. We got about a foot of snow in Central NY while you were getting the rain, but it was gone in a couple days. Great vid Gary with you and your Pops!
I wish I could have done some cool stuff like that with my Dad. But that's okay. I did get to do other stuff. I learned some carpentry, plumbing, electrical & automotive stuff. Very valuable lessons indeed and I am glad. Now I like many more and others things. Take care.
I can see this as something to miss as I can't imagine not having him on trips sometimes. We still did normal car and house stuff but this has been something we have done since i could walk. I'm glad I have a chance to video it so the memories are there. All the best Tressa, I truly hope you are having a good week.
Nah, why let the rain bust your mood and he is a good sport with that! I finally sung in a video LOL! You are supposed to make reservations 2 weeks in advance. The shelters are free to stay at, this just guarantees that you have a spot to camp, especially since you cant camp along the trails in CT.
Gary, Kudos to you and your Dad for getting out there in the bad weather. It looks like you and your father have great relationship. I don't think your wife is going to leave you in the woods, she seems like a good sport! I love the content you are creating! Hope the next segment is a little dryer. Take care.
Thank you so much John! They re both good sports lol, how many people willingly say yes to "Hey, you wanna hike this weekend? It's going to rain all day Saturday!" True she may not dump me out there but if the price of gas keeps going up she may just not come get me though lol. Hope you have a great weekend John.

@@ConnecticutBackcountry yes you are very lucky to be able to memoralize these thing. Take care and God bless
Nice that you go backpacking with your old man. Even the rain doesn't get you down. So you have to make reservations to use those shelters?
