I have to be honest, Unhappy Refrain is the only (super famous) wowaka song that I haven’t listened to because it’s the last time I will ever be able to experience a wowaka song for the first time. Yet, I have loved your other wowaka UTAU collabs to death. Like they’re the best tuning I’ve ever heard of an UTAU and they’re are such a powerful take on wowaka’s songs that differ from the original vision of his songs. So I’ve been holding off on listening to this cover, but I couldn’t help it and listened to it. how do i start writing this comment... i think this is one of the highest production values i've seen for a work using utau. i find it very pretty how much their emotions gave extra meaning to the song, and it's crazy to think back then utau was looked down upon and vocal synths have gone so far aside from the stunning tuning and voicebanks, the animation and motion graphics really give emotional value to this i really appreciate being able to watch this ❤
