Thank you all for sticking with me. If you have any suggestions on what I should go over in future videos, please let me know. I really struggle on coming up with ideas that I think will be useful to you all.
Nice. I just visited your channel yesterday to see if I had missed anything and got sad. So glad you posted again. Watching now, but I already know it’ll be great. :)
Still goes to show that Courtney has more talent in her index finger than I do in my whole body : ) Great video as usual. I'd love to see a beginner's walkthrough of the Native Instrument's Maschine. I received mine last year, and I'm sure I'm missing things. Good to see you back.
Hi Courtney, I love your videos, thanks for all the effort you put in putting all this together for all of us, I admire you a lot 👌💎🎛🎧👑 I was wondering if is possible for you to make a video on how to connect the Akai MPK mini to the MPC live 2, I keep trying but no there are no sounds coming out when I touch the keys, thanks in advance, keep up the good wrk 👌💎💎💎😉
As a Maschine (among a heap of other stuff) user, I´m always up for Maschine content, but I also find that videos with the MPC is very inspiring. Similar thought process because of the pads. Also would enjoy if you set up some different dawless setups and just jammed or made beats. Very interesting to see how producers combine the different synths/groove boxes/effects etc. Or you could do tips and tricks videos for the Maschine, MPC or other equipment....show how you use them - that would be very interesting. Just a few thoughts that popped up since you asked :) Loved the tune in this vid btw, great chilled out feel and some lovely textures.
Defintley excited to see new content from you. Hope this doesn't mean the end of "A Girl and Her Maschine" tho. Even tho this helps cause I'm learning MPC currently, myself.
Not an MPC user any longer but I'm glad to see you back!! (I left Akai alone when they just pretty much decided to leave Touch out the loop of everything😒)
Hey Courtney huge fan! I also picked up a live 2 retro; however, i noticed that the edges of the pad were more responsive to taps than the center of the pad. Is this normal like is your unit the same or did I get a faulty one lol. (Btw, my sensitivity was set to highest, T.C off and full level on)
Akai Sequencer section , Is one of the best arranger ever , you can create multiple sequences then jump over to Song mode! However Maschine sampler is quicker far as editing and flipping loops etc, So if you bring Maschine in as a plug n in your MPC you are golden
Nice to see you back! Really dope to see such a light setup by the way. Wondering what is the reference of the nice led vumeter on the left? (did not see it listed in the description, might have missed it)
hey Courtney nice beat I have a question what is that tragic looking visual digital equlizer thing does it have a name and how is it connected to your live?
Coming from Bobeats to your channel 🙂 It's alway interesting to see how a beat was done and getting some tutorial and insight in your workflow, also with your MPC or Maschine (I only owning the Maschine myself yet 🔥). Maybe it would be interesting to get a video with a detailed deconstruction of a album song. Oh and thanks for the link to the LED Bar, this is some awesome gadged :)
As far as ideas for new vids: look, you make awesome beats. It reminds me of Accurate Beats. Yeah, I like to learn a couple few things but the main reason I’m there is just to watch him cook something up! I say you just go grab some samples and say something like “today I’m making a lofi beat out of a 60s sample and (blah blah)” and go for it! It doesn’t need to be super educational each time, I’d show up just to watch you work and listen to some awesome beats! That said, if you need ideas…. I’d say doing “sound challenges”. For example, I’d love it if you grabbed an old sci-fi movie, pulled a few samples from it and then tried to make a beat that thematically matched the movie, maybe? Anyway, I love listening to your stuff, keep it up :)
For me the mpc is just so much more portable than the Maschine. Literally just put the mpc in my bag and go. With Maschine I’ve gotta have a speaker or headphones and a battery pack.
Also if ur curious about what we wanna see.. Wanna see u make more beats play instruments & maybe score song placements who kno's sky's (NOT) the limit 😂 😂
hey Courtney i have a mpc live 1. all my beats are just one sequence. how do i switch up the beat i made so they wont sound boring? please make a video on that. thank u soo much
Wassup Courtney! I have been contemplating the MPC one as a big Maschine user. 1. How do you like the workflow? 2. Please drop the link to the east thingy on the desk! I gotta have it!
I’ll make a comparison video going into more detail. The thing I like about the live 2 is that all I have to bring with me is it. The Maschine plus I have to have external battery pack and speaker or headphones as well.
I'm on the mk3 right now. But also have the the 2kxl and the 2500. The mk3 is very fast compared to the older mpc's. The 2kxl has a better sound and swing. The mpc one is tempting, due to it's New features and 2kxl look. Looking forward to the comparison! 👍👍
@@CourtneyHawkins I've watched your channel for a few years now. Good stuff, you should come hang out sometime on Ave Mcree's livestream on Sundays 7:30. Everyone listens to beat submissions and its a real cool environment, very down to earth and everyone having fun.
Classic feel 🔥 I rock with it. An always remember God loves you Court anything you’re going through in life you can take it to Him in prayer and He will bless you up so nice. Jesus is all you’ll ever need. 💡🌎
Pas besoin d'une live 2 pour faire un beat aussi simplet que ça sérieusement... une sp-404 fait largement le taf. Si t'achète une live 2 fais lui honneur en créant quelque chose d'un peu plus complexe.
@joybeats2425 0 seconds ago i respect you sister, ive learned so much from all vids & and your awesome humor tho. thank you for stepping up and being an inspiration for us all. God bless your journey w/ an abundance, joy p.
Definitely catchy
This is awesome 👍🏾💯
Smooth dreamy flava great beat
Thank you all for sticking with me. If you have any suggestions on what I should go over in future videos, please let me know. I really struggle on coming up with ideas that I think will be useful to you all.
Getting that perfect top down shot, i got a Maschine mikro after being inspired by u for the love of G... I struggle with the camera angles 😂 😂 🤦♂️
Will you be my mentor and teach me how to make beats
@@thahomie773 I'm thinking about starting up tutoring/mentoring. Stay tuned for more details in future videos.
@@CourtneyHawkins yea because I got a Mpc live 2 and I’m completely lost it’s sitting around collecting dust
I love you videos keep them coming
Good to see you still rocking the groove box!
So interesting. Thanks for showing us around and some beats!
Thank you Felicia :)
Without further ado let's get right into beat making....Then proceeds to get into beat making. I'm subscribed!!!!!!
Nice. I just visited your channel yesterday to see if I had missed anything and got sad. So glad you posted again. Watching now, but I already know it’ll be great. :)
Thank you for always supporting Beau
Ayee always nice to see a new upload from you. Beat was a total vibe 🌊

More tendon strenghth too. MPC pads are TOUGH lol. You gotta hit it like you MEAN it lol.
Very helpful tips, thanks 🙏 oh yeah and that beat is 🔥🔥🔥
SHE'S BACK
I really gotta stop disappearing for so long.
I would love to see more MPC stuff🙂
That beat is fire. Did you use stock sounds? So many questions

I'm the same way courtney im a logic pro guy! I like linear sequencing but trying to wrap my head around akai mpc workflow
Stick with it Bro...it's just like a DAW and once you get over that hump it's rewarding...maybe even more on a groove box.
Whats that light bar called on the left side?
AirGuGu LED bar Amazon has them I was wondering too, and, found it
amzn.to/3C0RaJo this is the one I have
Great job you got some rhythm girl keep up the good work.
Dope and love the channel! Keep up the dope work!
Looking forward to more beats with your new MPC, good video thanks, RMS
Go On Courtney x Yes yes!
You have been missed! Glad to see you're back!
Glad to be back. I’ve got a cool lil video that’s gonna be on @bobeats channel next week.
ok i needed this thanksZ!✅

Really enjoy your videos. I’m a Logic Pro user, any type of video using that daw would be amazing.
would love to see more videos of either mpc or maschine (since that's what i have lol) 😁
Hi Courtney, I would love to see your thoughts on working with the MPC versus Maschine.

What's the Pont of using both Maschine & Mpc or I should say what's the difference?

@@CourtneyHawkins aren't there track arranging limitations on MPC live? Like is it useful for making full songs esp if you're a commercial producer?

What's the pont works just fine. Lol
Dope!! What is that little light you have picking up your audio input on the left? Looks so fire

I’m working on a video rn about easy ways to sequence on the mpc live.
Use mute tracks to give the sequence drops and more suspense

I really like the UV meter on the left! What is it
You posting more of your music? I think those are the most interesting.
Would like to hear your vocals over your tracks and see the process
I was wondering where u been
dope beet!! i just subscribed
Thank you!!!
What's the drum 🥁 pack name? 🤔
Very catchy🎧 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Are we listening to the built in speakers or your monitors?
Listening through the built in speaker on the MPC
It sounds really good! I’m thinking about getting one of these. I’ve used Maschine for almost ten years.
I want to see the slicing of a melody to make a new melody. Thats just me. Love the vidoes.
Hey Courtney, do you like the live 2 with the new features over the maschine mk3?

Nice! Did you get the new update?:) its super dope..
Yes i am loving the new features.
Is that a speaker on the bottom of the Akai? And it also looks like its running on internal power. Thats pretty cool if that is the case
The Live 2 is fully standalone and has a sound bar. ❤️
Yep it is just the live 2 and the Bluetooth speaker
