I was a little surprised by a Christmas video from you but I get it because of the $$. this is your job and how you earn an income. I said I totally understood! and 2.) you made reference to the hatred and divisiveness this week. I commented on that and said I ALSO agree with you there and mentioned the most divisive campaign we've seen in decades from one of the candidates. I was NOT trying to start a political discussion, but rather commenting on something that YOU made reference to. deleting and blocking was completely puzzling to me

Just for weight loss reasons I started eating Paleo. I have tried so many new foods that I normally would not try. I have also subscribed to a compny called Green Chef and Sun Basket. They send you 3 meal plans with all the foos prepared. I main started using them to get ideas. Just food for thought. Pun intended!!!! lol

I was also at Ole Miss for parents weekend. My husband couldn't come either and I was also a bit stressed about the travel. I had three flights and the first was so delayed that I missed my connections. It was such a great weekend and it was so wonderful to see my baby girl so I know exactly how you feel! We live too far for her to come home for Thanksgiving so she will be with my Aunt and Uncle in Mississippi. I am counting down the days until she's home for Christmas!! I love all your videos! I am amazed that you ever use a carry on! I absolutely despise checking luggage. I can pack sooo much in a carry on. I packed five full outfits, makeup, a flat iron and 2 pairs of shoes two weeks ago. I was in Chicago for a 3 day conference this week and brought 3 full suits, an extra shirt, two pairs of shoes, makeup, and a flat iron. All fit in a carry on.
Glad you had fun seeing Jake! Could you please do a "packing light" video to show us how to travel with just a carry on? I would love to be able to travel like that!!!

I live in Memphis and this was a fun vlog to watch. Oxford is such a beautiful little town. We toured Old Miss a few years ago with my daughter. I was trying to get her to live my dream and not hers. She ended up at home at University of Memphis. I loved The Grove footage. I was hoping to see someone I knew. Lol Congrats on your Cubbies too. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Happy Sunday...being from Mississippi myself , I saw lots of fun pics on fb of friends who were at Ole Miss enjoying the parents weekend with their kids and football too. I know you are a happy Momma after seeing your baby boy yourself. Glad Michael was ok after the car incident. I saw a post on IG that Walmart of all places carries a paleo diet line of food. Not all parents are as good as you are Marnie. My parents never saw where I lived, never visited me at college, and didn't come to my wedding, either. (Both had narcissistic personality disorder, I came to find out this year). Having great parents isn't a given; some people just shouldn't reproduce. I'm happy your boys have you and Michael.
Aw yay, Jake visit! We have a westie, named Willow. We also have Scotties. The westie is my constant shadow. She's 15 now and completely blind. She is just sweet and pitiful all wrapped in one. On another note, I need those glasses. Lol

As someone who grew up in the Chicago area it was simply the best. The parade for the Cubs that held on Friday was impressive to watch!

I was there with you on the Cubbies! Cubbies fans are the best. Not only was that the best Cubbies game ever.... our whole family agreed it was the best baseball game we had ever seen. I bought my youngest grandson his first Cubbies hat for his birthday in June and a Cubbies flag.... now I have to get the win flag, lol!
I was tearing up when you were at Ole Miss and you were so happy with Jake referring to him as "my baby". Do the same with my 22-year old son when he comes home from school much to his chagrin!!!

I was reading my Sunday paper and noticed that a woman named, Danielle Walker wrote a cookbook called Celebrations. She has ulcerative colitis and her cookbooks may be helpful for you in cooking for Shane and keeping him well. Danielle Walker has a blog called Against All Grain and she is also a fan of the Paleo diet. Anyway, I thought I would pass this information on just in case it may be helpful.

I so enjoy you videos/vlogs and your personality! My son is a freshman at Culver Military Academy as a freshman in high school and miss him dearly. The good thing is it's only 40 min away so he can come home on weekends after the first 8 weeks there. Keep these coming!

There's nothing like seeing your baby for the first time after they go off to college! Yes, I remember the gross smell of those frat houses, but yay! You are the hot mom!
And I just looked up where the Phi Sigma Sigma house is at U of I. All three of my boys were Alpha Sigma Phi, which is only 2 blocks away. They also lived at Bromley their freshman year, so I'm sure I've been past that house many times.
