- Hey all. These are my top 8 fun and strong hybrid builds for Elden Ring, mixing in 2 different damage stats for most of these. These are a good time and still work well for most bosses, as all footage is on NG+7 at RL 150. I find these builds enjoyable to use, with all of them having a lot of versatility too!

Are people speculating that holy damage will be the best for the DLC? I may do a Merika’s Hammer build then. Is Elenor’s Poleblade a bleed and fire damage build?
Some are, but truth is we don’t know yet lol Marika’s hammer is good tho because it also does a lot of physical damage. And yes bleed & fire for the Poleblade.
Marinas hammer is my favorite weapon on game. That and Blasphemous are my go-to for DLC. Strength and faith. Love it.

For me, I'm excited about the 8 new weapon classes. Gives a new reason to finish the DLC and go NG or NG+ to start out with them new weapons

If only there were something from Radahn to pair with Blasphemous Blade and Darkmoon Great Sword and we'd complete their sibling trio. Still, Song of Ice and Fire build is chillingly hellish fun.

For the last build and Staves: at 40int/40fai the Gelmir Glinstone is better. The Prince of Death pulls ahead at 50int/50fai and above :)
I love DoTs. I’ll be bringing my Poison and Rot build to the DLC! It changes around a lot from DEX to Arcane to a Hybrid… but right now I’m enjoying it as a no-frills strength build with the Rotten Greataxe with Braggart’s Roar and the Coiled Shield. Sure most stuff dies from raw damage, but that’s a feature!

Hey, just beat the game and unsure if I should go to journey two or wait for dlc. I want more larval tears and weapon dupps for power stancing but does ng+ ruin the dlc? Thanks and great vids as always!
Thanks! And imo no lol I love the challenge that NG+ and after brings. NG+ isn’t too bad either, it doesn’t get really hard til about journey 4 or 5.
I’m planning on playing through the DLC twice for sure. Once with a new character that’s quality/faith for a more challenging experience and the second time with my NG+ character when I’m more familiar with the land and know what weapons or spells I want to beeline for.

What do you think is better? Elionoras poleade or you double slash build?
Double slash but Eleonora’s Poleblade is incredibly fun.

Bloodhound’s fang because of the poise damage you’ll get to.

Using the Glintstone kris is better than nite comet. It's almost as strong, it's faster and has the cool R2 follow up.
But significantly less range lol it is good sure, but night comet is better imo.

What has more damage potetial bloodhounds fang or double slash
I believe I answered this earlier on another comment, bloodhound’s fang due to the added poise damage & physical damage it has. 🤘

For sure, but keep in mind the Iron Greatsword’s base damage is very high in blood affinity.

For golden vow & FGMS. Base faith is 15. 🤘
My favorite builds are hybrid. One type whole game gets boring to me. Faith and strength or int and strength for me.

I hate how elden ring players think status build up speed and damage define if something is good. It’s just a different way to play. Poison players are fundamentally different from bleed build players it the nuance of things.
