As a Georgia fan, he takes what the defense gives him 10/10. If someone is open in the flat, he's putting it in the flat. Sometimes he misses on huge plays and it's frustrating, but you never really have to worry about him putting the ball at risk. He was a little off today too, but this is 3rd or 4th best defense we'll have to face all year
People confuse watching a full game of throws compared to a highlight reel lol. This is what playing mistake free football at a high level looks like. Nothing special and nothing eye popping but doing this is what wins games 34-3.
The scouting report on him not throwing it far is very concerning. Dude plays for Georgia but is so conservative. The amount of short throws is something to look at.
I agree but I do believe there is a place in the league for guys who are elite at making the easy throws. Meaning more YAC for the receivers because of consistent ball placement . Brady and Cousins are guys who fit that category.
Not impressed. Feel like he predetermines where he’s going to go with the ball every throw. Forced passes even if the receiver was t open because he’d already made up his mind. Also, limited athletically. I don’t see 1st round talent
People have to understand. Georgia does not have great perimeter players. He doesnt have the weapons like an LSU or Ohio State. Georgia recruits OL and RB on Offense.
@@isaiahrogers8369 how so? I see a lot of check downs and wide open receivers? I don’t see a lot of big arm throws in tight spaces? Can you elaborate on what makes you think he is a good qb? Beyond you think he is already better than dj
Not overly impressed with this guy tbh. Decent athlete that is on time with everything underneath but not much that makes me think he’ll be elite in the NFL. Was more impressed by the Penn state kid tbh
In their first seasons as starters(2023) this is how they did: Carson Beck QBR: 167.9 (#8) Comp%: %72.4 (#4) YPP: 9.5 (#7) Drew Alar QBR: 137.2 (#65) Comp%: 60.1% (#86) YPP: 6.8 (#93) Alar should look splendid against West Virginia, they aren't very good - #54 roster on the 247 talent composite, several spots below Vanderbilt and just one spot above Northwestern. Clemson's roster is #5 on the index. Comparing the results from yesterday is not an apples-to-apples comparison from a talent perspective. Let's see how Alar looks against Ohio State which is two spots above Clemson on the index.
No he's not. Beck is going to have a much better career. He's a guy who may not light up the stat sheet but he runs the offense well. He's a Brady or Manning type QB rather than Mahomes.

If you watch his feet you will understand why he’s so good
Can’t wait for the Giants new QB in this draft 🙏
We can only hope
Carson Beck
He's not an NFL quarterback
Maybe a backup
I just want everybody to know as I come back. He's terrible.

This is exactly why I do these. Seeing a Quarterback in consecutive order like this with no interruptions really helps with assessment

Did you see the Bama game? Boy trash 🗑️ maybe he’ll get better as the season progresses
Go Dawgs 💪
Woof woof!!! 💪😁
ready to reunite with Brock bowers 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
People are mad that he’s taking what the defense is giving him and making smart reads lol. QB1, don’t overthink it.
How good is the arm..That is my question..
He has a very good arm. It's not elite but he'd be in the upper half of the NFL in arm strength
The scouting report on him not throwing it far is very concerning. Dude plays for Georgia but is so conservative. The amount of short throws is something to look at.
As long as he can read defenses and have good pocket presence, that is an upgrade to DJ.
I don’t see it.

I'm sure I'm not the only New York Giants fan watching these highlights.
Like ewers and sanders better
@@lukascruz4831 Let's see how they do this season.
Look like another DJ
We need that Jaxon Dart drop
I got you!

I don’t give a sh## to f DJ throws for 5,000 yards. Giants need Beck as a potential replacement.
I’m on the same time. He could have an outstanding year but we still need to draft a QB.
@@AwthentikandTheBeard facts
Agreed he needs to be replaced this draft, but what do you see in Beck that gets you excited?
@@stevenbloom8676 I see a better QB than DJ . It’s sad that a College QB have better progress than DJ

Did you watch that throw to Young tho? That was a perfect pass. He has a rocket for an arm and has a high football IQ
His deep ball is good tho. He was 71% accurate on all his passes last year, and will be better this year

Yup. Allen, sanders, and moss played way better showing traits that translate to the nfl. Hell. Even Gabriel played better than this .
He has good release, but didnt play well. Receivers dropped passes but still not impressed
Shedeur better

nah he’s just more fun to watch. being more exciting to watch don’t make you a better player
@@SabansBaldSpot I’d bet my salary that 90% of GMs would draft #2 over #15
She didn’t play a team that had something called a defense
