I went through CBT for my depression!
Seriously I do have severe depression and I'm resistant to medication, I went through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I find some of the simplest suggestions can help - and frankly hilarious to mention this way.
For example: I'd constantly call myself a lazy piece of shit so I'd write down a couple of productive things I do and mark it off, when I think that just try to look at the paper which kind of makes me aware of the little things I do every day.
Over I've learned how to distract myself much more and things are much more enjoyable, it's even easier to believe you can do it too in time.
Maybe I'm saying a lot for nothing but at the very least, best wishes.
