Thank you very much for this tutorial. I'm currently trying to model a NACA 2418 airfoil for a ME course. I'm currently stuck at the step where I'm to import the .pts file into CREO Parametric. Was wondering if it had anything to do with the part where the data columns were flipped since whenever I try to import I get the same message "Spline points have not been changed." Hope you can help and thanks again.
David, I am your big fan. I have watched almost every videos about Creo Parametric, and learned a lot. I am wondering how to model the entire wing? I am modeling B717-200, and the fuselage was done, but do not how to model wings and others. Thanks.
You would need the airfoil data along with the corresponding buttline locations for the splines. There is a strong chance that that information is not publicly available as it is most likely proprietary intellectual property.
In one of my first videos I show how to create model templates. My aerodynamic template is pretty much a regular start part / start assembly with renamed default datum planes.
hello sir i wanted your help i have been given a project of taxibot and have told to make model on that so sir could you plz help me with that plz sir its little bit urgent so sir if possible plz make a video on how to make taxbot in creo 3.0 plz sir its a request
Very much easier and time effective way to import data into a sketch!
Thanks! Glad you like it.
Wonderful video! Thank you!
Thanks, Sheng Huang!

Forgot to mention I'm currently using the student edition.

@@CADPLMGuy thanks, David.
thank you for your video!!
i want to ask about 6:04
creo 3.0 doesn't have this function?
I followed the same, but I can't
That functionality has been in Creo and Pro/ENGINEER before it for over 25 years...
not able to convert .txt file to .pts file
thanks youu
You're welcome!
How to add aerodynamic template in creo parametric?
