WHY are Atari cabinets SO HEAVY?!?! They are like tanks!!
Well made...great quality...glad they added wheels starting in 1981 too!
+TNT Amusements Inc amen! I don't enjoy moving them alone!
Space Duel was featured on the cover of The Who It's Hard album. Possibly the first time that a video game was included on an album cover...
That's a great piece of trivia...will mention it in the next Space Duel video we do.
When the cats away the mice come out to play
And play they did!
20:07 - Did Curt say "gg" after Space Duel? Because that puts him in the Wallace-tier.
Todd Cant play pinball, like He says, but He's actually good at this Space Duel game, huh? Thanks for the great video, guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool! enjoyed the look at Space Duel. Hope you had a nice trip. :)
All the thumbs up for Wallace! #TeamWallaceFTW!
I will tell Wallace when I return next week...at Disneyworld now!
WE NEED SHIRTS! #teamwallaceFTW
Matt Z ^ This! ^ How about TNT shirts w/ the TNT dynamite logo AND the 37 year pinball sticker? Then the names of his crew on the back: Curt, Frank, Wallace, Jason, etc. Todd at the top of course. :-D
Nice vid the Space Duel is a really nice game very cool co op
Thank you!!
10:08 LOL!
I LOVE my wife!
Wallace Looks like Aunt Jemima's husband. Remember SNL episode? LOL
Great video, *as usuuaaal* hehe hope you having a great time at Disneyworld with tthe family. Todd, I'm having a problem with an arcade monitor chassis, I can't seem to get to sync (scrambled picture). Messing with pots makes no difference, it seems. I have a video on my channel illustrating the problem. Cables are good and it''s well connected. Please, if you or anyone here can help me, I would be very grateful. Best wishes all!! Oh, and I'm also on #TeamWallaceFTW
Mr.Todd! Can you do a video tutorial " How to build your own video arcade cabinet" ?
2:50 LOL
Cool vid man, great games. Hope you had a fun trip to disneyworld.
Missouri.... hey I have a classmate I knew in Minnesota and he now teaches in St Louis but right there... he's got a MN Gophers shirt on spelled out :O :D and I love MN although Vikings no. Twins Yes. Packers in WI yes. Gophers vs the Badgers? not sure they in the same ring? if so Gophers first. IA doesn't have a national team for Baseball or Football smh I have no clue why not. :(
wonder if he sources Riverside Electronics (okay another push) yes they did say they've done Pinball/ arcade parts. But they aren't exactly at the consumer level either.
In my big roadtrip in 2014 I found cocktails a LOT smaller then this one. I send you pictures on Facebook :)
Super Pac-Man gets no love but I like it though. Very popular for conversion into other games. Maybe I'll save one from such a horrible fate....
I found someone selling a Super Pac Man for $250 the art work is faded on all sides and the plexiglass looks opaque. Everything else works good. Is that a great price or what?
sounds great!
Just curious..... what would you guys say would have been the rarest Pinball or Arcade machine you've either worked on or owned in your shop?
Hmmmm....I have had several video games that seem to be very rare...I have made videos of them too...the cabarets Space Zap, Playchoice 10, Space Demon, to start! The Williams Starlight had only 100 made...I have had a couple of them. Of course Big Bang Bar has only 200 in existence...but because its newer, pretty much all of them are out there...it seems the older they get, the less chances they will have survived!
Never saw Space Duel. But it's a definite fore runner, for Blasteroids. Another great TNT video.
Thanks!!
Asteroids DLX was a desaster operator-wise? Tell us more about this please......
well, everything was faster...and players who were used to playing 1 hour on a quarter were not happy they died so much sooner! There were companies that converted the deluxe back to asteroids......
Muito bom seus Vídeos sempre gosto muito de assistir, será que tem algum video com neo geo mvs ? Obrigado
Hi...Glad you like the videos! We have at lest 3 Neo Geo videos up on our channel now! Look them up!
Brigado, to aqui sempre acompanhando seus videos que são muito legais, obrigado por me responder !
The shock effect gets me every time!..
And the Atari Space Duel looks marvelous.
thanks!!
well that solves that age old mystery. Why quarters I get sometimes have a hole in them :O oops. Reminds me of putting a slice of liver down someones throat (CSI episode) with a fishing line and well that didn't end ell. hence well it was a CSI ep. Usually things on the other end of a fishing line end up in real trouble. Fish, throat. Super Pac-Man's trick. ...... Hope your keeping dry in Florida. dew point in IA is near 70 degrees humidity is in the 80 % above range all day. and the rain we didn't get but flooded northern IA has made it down here so downtown is near moderate flooding. smh They forecaster minor flooding. ouch... No steamed over windows so I'm assuming it's worse in FL this time around. It's when the dew point goes over 80 degrees it's an issue. (oh and ZAP) I still don't like Minecraft :P
Yes people have wondered about that hole in the quarter! VERY hot here in Disneyworld...they say hottest days ever for this week!
just pray for zero Hurricanes , have that trending on FB , thought there actually was one. Nope 5th year anniversary. FB trends. Sigh they are a bit truncated of late.
another entertaining episode... wish these guys would do 2 episodes a week :-)
These episodes do take quite a bit of time to make...perhaps 6 hours for the average 30 minute vid to film and edit...but we do enjoy it and realize they will be up on internet for years entertaining and informing people....so its a nice legacy for me in the long run. We expect to keep putting them up and do avergae about 2 a week...sometimes more...Please keep watching and commenting!! And f course, sharing!
Love that Bryan walks in with Minnesota on his T-Shirt and Todd still says Missouri
Minnesota and Missouri...same place almost!
First!
Yes you were!!
Can I ask how Steven retouches up the paint on the space duel? Does he use acrylic paint and a brush?
Yes...everything is with a brush and acrylic paint. He seals it with gloss.
Vector graphics are the future!
I keep telling people that!
Great video Todd!
Thanks!!
LOL@ 3:01!!!
couldn't resist!'
Seeing these vids are always comfy to watch these guys are proud of their work
