I'm looking at the flowering vegetation in the background and guessing that rooting time is in the spring.... But, have the plastic wrapped cuttings been stored in a cool location? Can the grape cuttings be successfully propagated if cuttings are taken during other months as well? Will fall or autumn prunings be good enough material to use? Will cuttings made during fall and winter need to be stored in coconut coir, sphagnum moss, or other materials to protect them from frost or buried deep enough or other recommendations? Thank you for your informative comment. I prune the vine in the fall. I store the cuttings in bags in a cool place until spring or bury them in the ground.

If a grapevine is grafted, when you make cuttings, are they considered still part of the grafted vine or do they revert to the original root stock?

I'm from Ukraine. Therefore, I mainly grow grapes of Ukrainian breeders. There are grapes of Russian, American and Asian selection.
