Thats easy a single crochet is that you go in the chain go through one loop then you will be left with two loops then you go through those two loops meanwhile a double crochet is that you yarn over go into a chain then you'll see that you have three loops on your hook then you will go through one loop then two loops then again two loops Hope that helps!
