Why? Because it’s actually called “Cybercents” or because you just don’t like currency that’s sort of designed to conceal how much money it actually costs to obtain something on sale for the currency?
@ Yeah. It is a little cringe. But I might have to disagree with you here. I think Independium is more cringe than Cybercents. At least I think that right at this moment. But maybe tomorrow I won’t.
That’d be the only real way to reduce them. If they don’t sell, then the prices will theoretically lower. And I’d do the same. No way I’d be spending the money for this thing.

@@AlekTrev006 I didn’t know much about the PC version. I think it’s a steel ship and I’ll probably never get it on there. I did see it had SAP secondaries and 5km range, so I just concluded there was no good reason to build into them.
Nice review, Xarkun. It costs a lot for these Christmas currency ships. I think the Yoshino was the one that was astronomically high. Not many people got it.
ahhhh yes the new ship for like 200$, generates -100k credits and is frustrating to play while having a twin towers citedal 💀, oh wait what is this?, you can spend 10$ on defence get much more stuff from the campaign and get the kutuzov from wish? NOW THATS ONE HELLA DEAL. (laughs in brokness)
I really do not understand the people who think this ship is frustrating to play. I think the ships is potentially not just good, but fantastic. If you watch the whole video, you'll see why. But yeah. It's expensive as hell, and there's no way I'd buy it.
@@Xarkun the cit is too big, MID firing angles at best, wayyy too long, and some really MID grouping and the fact that there is no PERFECT commander for it after spending 200 bucks, well i think ima pass but i do think that SAP is good iam really hating on it but it just comes in such a high price.
I wonder if WG went back to reasonable prices if they would actually make more money. Many moons ago I used to buy tanks for my son on WOT, because they were “pocket money” prices. Now, a high tier tank , or ship in this case, is more expensive than a premium game. I understand that WG has to make money, and need in game purchases as it’s a free download, but just imagine how many people would be willing to spend 10-15 dollars / euros / pounds on a ship … instead of the minimal number of people that shell out 200 dollars ( and currency equivalents).
They seem to be making money on this thing judging by how many I’ve seen. I had another match recorded where I saw a triple enemy Lauria div. None of them were CCs, which means the only way they could’ve gotten it was by whaling for however many crates you need.
The spectral crates this year are not even close to the Santa crates. Yes, the level 5 crate drop chances are the same, but good luck getting the level 5 crate. If you really look at percentages, getting a level 5 crate drop now is much harder than last year. I went through 30 Spectral 3 crates the other night (I did that upgrade path thing because I already had the Hyuga W from a Santa crate) and not a single level 5 crate. Only a couple of level 4 and most of the returns from the crates in general were very disappointing - well, unless you like a lot of camos and silver.
I’m aware, but that’s another topic for a different video. The thing that’s relevant here is you can grind out 10.5k cybercents by… grinding. And then the remaining 7k needed for the ships have to come from buying 3.0 crates; each one gives 250, so you need 28 total. Whether the ship drop chances are as good as last year isn’t relevant to anything I said in this video. But fair points and thanks for the thoughts.
@@Xarkun I agree that it is a different topic, but it also applies here as well. I brought it up because in order to get those cybercents, you're really going to need to get those crates. People should be aware of what they are paying for since it isn't just the cybercents they are buying. And in this case, these Spectral crates are not just reskinned and updated Santa crates (which to my folly I thought they were without researching).
BA Montana with Hoshino costed $150 dollars straight up because you needed to have 45,000 dubloons. So, the Lauria can be cheaper than BA Montana was if you get all of the free Cybercents. I will get this ship the last week or second to last week of the update.
Interesting. I couldn’t remember the other prices. So technically you can grind out a *discount* for the ships is the case you’re making? I thought maybe that was the case. HOWEVER, it has to be said that in order to get this discount, you do literally have to play the game on a daily basis for the duration of the update. Maybe not necessarily, but that’s a gigantic time commitment. So it’s a discount in one sense, but it’s a discount you have to spend a different kind of resource on. Namely time and effort. And in the end, you’re still paying an exceptionally high dollar amount.
You also get the chance of obtaining a super prize when you purchase the cyber crates, so you end up with the Laura and a super ship. PS I spent the dubs but didnt get a super prize..the dubs I spent I budgeted for.
Not including the Admiralty Backing I only had to spend $25 to get the Louisiana during the 4th of July event. This is just egregiously greedy by WeeGee
For the price of the ship and the supposed accuracy they claim it has it should not be so inconsistent with accuracy in the main guns IMO. Not saying its a bad ship but the accuracy and the price leave a lot to be desired. I do agree its not bad but again for the price its average as you must take the cost in to account.
I wouldn’t buy it. Also the accuracy hasn’t felt like a problem to me. Wasn’t in this match. And when you get a bum salvo, it’s a 25s reload. So I think that makes up for it, personally.
10500 is enough to get the Soviet cruiser and the defence. That’s all I care about since I have the Columbo which is still a phenomenal Italian bb despite the nerfs.
@@elscarador7012 I’d be hesitant on the Soviet Cruiser. I’m gonna need to play it more to decide, but I thought the thing was bad. Defence seems great though.

Greed has consumed these free to play games. People defend them by saying it “keeps the lights on”, but these companies have already paid the light bill 10 years in advance with how much they try and succeed milking the player base.
WG need the money to begin Phase 5....and you all know what I mean. Personally, Laurie looks good....but she's expensive. I'll settle for this month's campaign ship. Since I cant get the Lauria...I'm gonna make it a point to sink her the second I see her in any of my matches.
You can also get the t7 or the t5... the russian cruiser or the french one. Its only 10k of the event currency and the campaign gets you most of the way to that. Youll have to grind some of the even to get the t7 though. Regardless its still no extra cost
