    Hi Dave in South Africa we call that stew "potjie kos".
    Potjie = pot
    Kos = food. We also cook it outside on the fire.
    Enjoy🎉🎉

    A keeper and will try with ground venison this hunting season. The classic cowboy stew is called son of a gun stew.

      @@TheCooknShare Nice! We have a KIngston just across the Puget Sound, by ferry. lol. I've been to Ontario as well! Used to have a friend in Windsor. We went through London and Kitchener to see Niagara Falls - they are awesome! We were running around in those yellow raincoats under the falls, looking like a bunch of loose bananas. • @timmollins
    @timmollins 4 дня назад

    Howdy Partner… Why do Canadian cowboys have sticky feet? Because they wear maple stirrups… OK Dave enough of the dad jokes. My question is, how to you make your bottle tomato sauce? Is it just plain puréed tomatoes from the garden, or do you add additional ingredients?

    • @TheCooknShare
      @TheCooknShare  2 дня назад

      Howdy my friend. Love the joke. LOL. I just basically peel them by adding them to hot water for a few mintues. Chop them up and simmer them in a pot for about 45 minutes. Maybe add a bit of salt and pepper. Then, I just jar them. Works great. Hope all is well your way.

    Some of the camera work was way too close in my opinion..... neat the end with all the super close up shots... like when you were fishing it up. It seemed like you were being cut off because it was so close. Good otherwise though
