I've been plowing for about 15 years. Out of all the clowns that post videos about "how to plow a driveway," you are the only one I would hire because you're the only one who actually knows how to plow efficiently.
Hey Fitz, I think I would take 5" and shovel the snow by the garage doors & the sidewalks. That would really impress your customers. I know you have to back drag some, but I would back drag to a point where I could turn around & plow foward, again might take 5 extra minutes, but a much better job! I think your customers would appreciate the extra effort & would probably stick with you for a long time. IMHO I plowed snow for 20 years in North Central Ohio. No disrepect intended!!
None taken. The service you're talking about is certainly something I would offer many years ago. But at my age, getting out of the truck on every driveway to shovel would just drive me to stop plowing. My customers are happy with the service I provide. They can get what you're talking about from several other companies. But most decide to stay with me because of reliability. Plus, if I were to offer that extra service, I'd have to charge way more money. You mentioned "might take an extra 5 min." It only takes me 2 to 3 minutes to plow a driveway. An extra 5, I'd have to double or triple what I charge.
I push on angles up the driveway, side to side till I get close to the garage. Then, I take small bites backdragging until it gets cleared out. It's a huge pain and very time-consuming. But if it's a blizzard, my customers understand they'll just have to be patient until we can get to them
Love these real time plow vids. Thanks for putting this up.

Comments like these are the reasons I keep making videos! Thank you for the kind words
Agreed. I’ve got a big storm coming up next week and this one’s killing it.
Thank you for share this. Gives me some ideas on how to do mine and other driveways
Jesus the amount of snow that’s left on the property is pretty depressing!
I think a good way to tell how well people like your service is how many neighbors you work with. Its obvious from your video word gets around.

How would you do all that back dragging if there was a foot of snow?
Hey fritz how many driveways do u plow in the winter
How often do you need to plow these places? We don’t get snow ❄️ in Western Australia so it’s a bit of a novelty to me!
We only plowed 14 times this season. We average 12-16 times per winter
I'm new at snow plowing and was wondering if you have any videos for beginners such as pointers, tight spots, angles either way love the video
Nice job. It’s weird in on Long Island NY we mostly Western. Weird not to see one. Nice setup.
What do you do for a blizzard amount of snowfall? Back-drag 2' of snow in these driveways?

Thanks for the reply @@fitzsfixes
How do you like the snowex? I just bought mine. Do you use the downforce when back dragging?
Love it. Super easy to take on and off. I use down pressure all the time.
How many driveways do you do solo? I have 15 driveway contracts. Just wondering if im overdoing it solo
I do about 70 myself. Takes me around 4 hours on an average snowfall
May I ask how much you charge per push ?
How’s the snowex holding up?
Fantastic!
Awesome job Fitz..trolls always gonna hate💪😎
bro made 150 bucks in his first 5 min
Ah the clamshell blade
13:39 Holy stakes
Lol, ikr? I'm not sure why he does that. I think he's afraid his wife will fall off thr driveway
Cool video, I do prefer your boating videos.
Thanks. I'll be putting boat videos out as soon as I launch.
@@fitzsfixes splash time is soon I hope. I guess one good thing about high fuel prices, it will get rid of the Covid boater.
