On the floating sifters, I have started using one for three reasons. One, when in deep water up to chest/neck, it’s easier just to dump contents into onto sifter instead of trying to find target in scoop. Second, if bottom is mud chunks, gravel and leaves. And thirdly, saves time. You can just dump scoop and keep going, and then going through finds with pinpointer at end of hunt. It reminds me of munching on peanuts, not crunching down on them until I had a bunch in my mouth. Haha
Great video! Fun hunt!
Fun hunt ! Congratulations on the old silver !
Hum, interesting that you can get coins in Canada with a magnet.... cool. That dime is amazing!!! Thanks for the mention
A few fun finds. I believe the clip is a shoe clip. (?)
Beauuutiful scenery!
❤️😊👍
Congratulations on another great hunt, Ryan.
Looks like a clip that goes on a shoe.
Hi Ryan, nice hunt and magnet fishing. I still like it when you get in the water, I think its because of the skill you have in using the equipment and your great scoop. You do get some nice finds though congratulations on the old silver coin. Thanks for the video looking forward to the next one.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The vintage bling jewellery piece is a clip on earring. Cool finds, Love watching the channel. Happy hunting.
Nice hunting and great finds congrats on your old silver coins. 👍
That bling that looked similar to a clip- on earring looked just like a shoe clip. To bling up a plain shoe.
The silver dime is Edward VII (1902 - 1910) and it is 92.5% silver (sterling). Over the summer, I found an Edward VII 50 cent piece (1903-H) in a local lake.
My first magnet fishing was a dock, I had so much fun. I like the plastic bottle wrap idea. Probably easier through some obstacles. Take care and happy holidays.
Nice silver coin, the best pull tab signal I’ve ever found was a gold engagement ring with 3 diamonds worth £3000. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the owner
Old Silver, Gotta Love It! My 50 pull tab challenge will come out tomorrow at 4pm Central with a few interesting surprises. A neat way to add some fun to detecting, thanks R Dogg!
1907 is King Edward. King George V is 1911 to 1936.
I use to have a channel, but sadly I can't stay on top of it, well great finds Rdogg, I have actually found a 14k gold ring that was returned to its owner 😊 happy to see there reactions!
the King George dime is pretty nice
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
Thanks Dogg, it was fun to watch🐶🐶🐶😉
Congrats on making that special find of a King George V dime. Very nice. You should check that 1955 Lincoln penny to see if it is a double die. Also, thank you for the tip on hunting in the weeds. GL & HH.
Nice hunt Ryan. That King George dime is sweet, gotta love silver. I was able to get out today for a few hours and just when I was about to leave I pulled a 1898 IHP😁
Nice dime - it's King Edward VII , not George V.. Good find for sure !
Fun hunt. Nice cold weather gear
You should drag the magnet behind you as you metal detect In the water You May pick up some coins or other goodies
Great video love the water hunting not allowed to hunt lakes here and best pull tab signals are a few gold rings and a 14kgold chain with a 10k ring and a big 14k cross all together
Amazing the things of older generations that are not known about now. That bling thing with the clip on the back Is I believe to be a 50s or 60s clip on woman's ear decoration. I have a number that my mother left me. I have never used them as when I grew up boys didn't wear them but maybe now I can.
Awesome video as usual! My absolute favorite things to find are old coins! My best pull tab signal for me here in North Texas at a 14 on my Minelab Equinox 600 was a 14 K very yellow gold opal ring. I wear it all the time. It’s a perfect fit! 😊
Great job RD nice finds I found a gold ring stamped 1918 congrats mate 🇬🇷💙🏖💪
HAPPY Holidays RYAN. Congrats on the KG6 silver dime
My best pull tab vdi dig was a thin man’s 14k wedding band.
O Canada awesome find on the old dime.Sorry the bracelet not real keep up the great videos.
heh yeah i was just gonna say ive saved a few deeper targets by just dumping the scoop in my floaty sifter. find it handy for rocky areas and weeds. just straight sand its not really needed.
good hunt
Merry Christmas, Ryan.
I keep a medium-sized vitamin bottle in my pouch for sharp things. They usually have a wide mouth so will fit most of the sharps I might find. Thanks for the video. It makes me cold, watching this, but it's 60 in Florida so I'm freezing anyway. ;-)
I did the pull tab challenge this weekend. I wish I could show you a picture. 37 pull tabs,4 nickels and a bunch of aluminum scrap.
Another awesome hunt Cheers and Merry Christmas
🎄
Great hunt x
Nicely done I enjoyed the video. 🇺🇸
Nice hunt Ryan. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Take care buddy. 👍🏼🇨🇦
Great adventure buddy!
Nice hunt and super sweet Eddie dime! Nice clad haul and cool old bling jewelry piece! Decided to try a 100 pulltab challenge but going with the range of 14-17 as it’s an older spot with a wide variety of pulltabs going back to their inception in the 50’s. Haven’t quite finished yet with 60 on the first outing and 10 more last night. Switched from 15” to 6” last night to first hit a wooded bench area on a ridge where they had been removing dead ash trees. Ended up spending most of the time there as I hit on a few pretty nice old finds. Only had time to pick up 10 more but I had the craziest find so far on a 15 that ended up being way deeper, way bigger and thinking way older than I expected!
Decorative shoe clip, for the top of women’s dress shoe
I need to do a pull-tab challenge again, but I have found about 5 or 6 good sized gold rings that have been a dead on pull-tab number. GL&HH Matt 👍
HEY R DOGG, did you do a video months ago that was similar to the pull tab challenge but it was different. something like you were digging 50 "iffy" signals? i would like to see that one again. great video brother.
Awesome silver dime! I just got some waders to try out some of the shallow areas where the cold plungers always swim in Vancouver. I also just did the pull tab challenge on my channel! 😎
Happy Holidays!
What solution do you use to clean your silver? I have some dug jewelry that's black and could use a cleaning. I tied the boiling water/aluminum foil/baking soda and it helped some.
“prison shank… or a Rolex” ❤
Always curious to what you will find and that curiosity is always richly rewarded. Thanks, Dogg!
I think that’s a shoe clip. How man6 prison shanks do you find??? Cool bracelet. You rarely talk about being cold so that was something! Great dime!!!
Fugazie laugh out loud . I say that too
Is it salt water?
Dude! You are a frickn polar bear! Just dipping the paws into the water that is totally freezing like it is a summer day!😳
It's an old clip on earring!
I disagree about it being an earring. It's more likely a clip to fancy up a neckline, usually worn in pairs, one on either side. The Clark on the back is the clue. It has tiny 'teeth' to grip material. You certainly wouldn't want it biting your ear lobe!
Clip, not Clark
Definitely a dress clip! Usually they were worn in pairs. Very popular in the 40s & 50s -a great find.
1st! Merry Christmas Ryan!!
Is it a clip-on earring, long before ears were pierced! Lol
Or maybe 1/2 of a sweater clip.

Silver can stain
Magnet fishing what a waste of possible metal detecting time
To each his own. I do not use a magnet but have seen some great finds from European magnet fishers. Thanks for another great hunt! GL & HH
