Thanks for your lovely video of Santa Margherita. Having spent a day there a few years ago when I stayed in Genova, I can vouch for its absolute beauty. I subscribed to your channel after seeing the video on Bolzano as I’m going to the Dolomites (again) in June! I used to go to different places in Italy at least once a year before the pandemic and will use your channel for ideas for future trips! Keep travelling!😊

I was there and I liked it much better than the more famous Portofino! To me the location was divine and the ambience more to my liking. Some day I shall return.....

    Thanks for the lovely video.
Would you recommend visiting in October? And do you know whether the boats to San Fruttuoso also run at this time of year?

Hello Punatukkanen, you know in Liguria the climate is quite mild even in autumn, there is only the risk of bad weather and rain. If you have no alternative, I would not miss a chance to visit even in October. For boats, visit this site traghettiportofino.it/en/lines-trips/line-1/#ad-image-0 where you will find useful information in English, a greeting

Hello DrUndo, porto fino is very expensive, you could stay in Santa Margherita Ligure and visit around doing trekking or by bus, bye ;)

Nice short video., please, maybe you can help to decide: my wife and i we booked 4 days at Cinque Terre ( Monterosso al Mare) and after we have to decide between 3 or 4 days in Santa Margherita de Ligure.....after that we are going 6 or 7 days to Varigotti( just to more relax).....so do you think 3 nights in santa Margherita Ligure is enought to vist Portofino, camogli and Rapallo or maybe better 4 nights( for that i will have to make 1 day short at Varigotti).Grazie.Ciao

Hi Marcello, in my opinion 3 nights in Santa Margherita Ligure are enought to vist Portofino, Camogli and Rapallo (1 day for each of them). If you like trekking, take 1 more night to hike in the Portofino peninsula ;)
