Ah! I couldn’t relate more! A lot of times when I “finish” a painting I allow it to sit on the easel for a few days so that I can constantly look at it! That way, I can spontaneously add things to it before varnishing! Thank you so much for your sweet comment! ☺️
I feel like during the line art stage, you get to really see the piece come together! Thank you so much for sharing your favorite part of your process and thank you so much for your sweet words! ❤️
You are amazing at Procreate..I suck at it honestly lol. I find myself smiling through your videos because they are just so peaceful and inspiring. Your point of slowing down resonates so much with me, and I think we derive so much more insight into our process in the down times as well as when we put the brush to the canvas. So thanks for reminding me of that, and taking a break from the internets. It’s honestly driving me crazy and it does impact my process. You have such a beautiful spirit and it definitely comes through in your wonderful paintings! Looking forward to the next video…blessings🙏🏾❤️
I have to say that this comment nearly brought me to tears. You are so sweet! Just like any medium, I feel like procreate just takes a lot of practice. With procreate, I feeling you’re given so many tools and it can be journey to find what works for you. (Like finding the right brushes for your workflow). It all takes time, so embrace where you are! I’m sure you’ll look at your work a year from now and be amazed at how far you’ve come! ❤I’m really honored and happy that you resonated with this video! It can be scary to share my thoughts with the world and It means a lot to know that there’s someone out there that relates.🥹 Thank you again for this beautiful and thoughtful comment. I can’t express how much your words mean to me. You truly made my night! ☺️🫶🏻
Hello! I’m an artist living in Korea! Your videos are so soothing to watch, and they give me a lot of inspiration. They also have such beautiful colors. You’re going to become an even more amazing artist. Have a wonderful day! I’m glad your videos showed up in my algorithm. See you again! 😊
Awww! Hi there! Thank you so much for this sweet comment! I can’t believe that my video made it all the way to Korea! I’m so grateful! Thank you so much for watching and for all of your sweet words! I’m wishing you the best of luck on your creative journey as well! ☺️💜
That piece is so creative and colourful. I love all the little arches that you've added to her skin as a pattern. It reminds me too that I need to try digital art on my graphics tablet again. I bought one a while back and only used it once. I did enjoy using it but haven't used it again since.
Thank you so much!!! And you should totally give it a try! Especially since you have the resources at your fingertips! I like switch from digital to traditional art a lot these days, I feel like both of them stretch my creative muscles but in different ways! You’ll have to let me know if you end up picking your tablet again! If so, I would love to see what you create :)
@@Theblindartisan That's probably a good idea. Digital at least doesn't require loads of materials. So it's a good way to practice techniques and ideas too. I agree about stretching our creative muscles. I've even found when trying new materials, it is often the ones I expected to enjoy the least, that I end up loving. Such as charcoal and also spray paint. I didn't expect to enjoy using those, but they are some of my favourite mediums now. Keep at it ! We're gonna make it !
Absolutely loved this vlog! This was the first time coming across your channel and oh how your thoughts of slowing down resonated with me. Beautiful work
I’m so happy that you connected with my little video! It means the whole world! 🥹 Thank you for watching! I hope you have a beautiful, creative week ahead. I’m sending you all the virtual hugs! ❤️
You’re too sweet! I’m using my iPad Air 5th gen to draw on and I’m using an app called procreate! ☺️ I hope this helps! Thank you so much for your sweet comment! 💕
Aww!!! Thank you so much Indie!!!! ❤️🥹 and I loooooove listening to music and creating! Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks while I work, but there’s something about music that just gets you into a rhythm! Haha! What is your favorite genre of music? Also! Thank you so much for your sweet comments! It always means so much 🥹
Beautiful video, do you have assistance with your production? I am also visually impaired and I find it very difficult using my adaptive tech/voiceover to navigate through all the editing and stuff… I’ve been wanting to try digital art for a while of the zoom in ability. so glad RUclips can allow you to pinch open the video frame now so I can get close and see the artwork :-) I just started my channel about two months ago. Do you mind me asking what type of vision loss you have? Keep up the good work :-)
Awww! Thank you so much this sweet and thoughtful comment! I actually do all the editing and production myself! I use my phone to film and I actually edit on my iPad. I use an editing app called Lumafusion. I really enjoy doing it this way because I can hold the screen close to my eyes while I edit! My eye condition is called nystagmus which is when one’s eyes moves side to side really fast. It also impacts my vision because of this. I also have a condition called albinism which has caused light sensitivity to my eyes. I am near sighted so I’m lucky enough to be able to do a lot of things on my own… but when it comes to recognizing people a few feet away from me, or reading signs I experience issues. I am also unable to drive which is why I walk everywhere or take public transportation! I feels good to be able to connect with other artists that are visually impaired too! I definitely recommend procreate for art making. Being able to zoom in has drastically changed the quality of my work for the better! Again, thank you so much for this sweet comment and for sharing a little bit about yourself! Also, thank you so much for watching!
I use procreate! And that’s a tricky question… I think I would say yes. Just like any new medium it can be hard to learn. Especially if you’re new to digital art. I think the interface is user friendly especially compared to some other digital drawing apps, but finding brushes and techniques that work for you can take some time.
You’re so sweet!!! Thank you so much 🥹❤️ So I am not blind but I am visually impaired. I have a condition called albinism and Nystagmus which resulted in my poor vision. I’ve been visually impaired my whole life but I always loved creating art… so when I was little my mom called me the Blind Artist! I sort of coined that name for my brand! I hope that makes more sense!
I think the hardest part about painting is deciding when it's done. That's a massive piece and it looks amazing.

What is Sardonyx?
Sardonyx is my pet snake! He is an albino corn snake. I named him Sardonyx because he looks like the stone! 🧡🤍
I love snakes. He sounds gorgeous.
