It's a bit late but I thought I might chip in here. The original animation was distributed as a swf. I have never done it myself but I hear there is a tool for decompiling swf files into the original adobe flash project. However, based on the look of the scrolling background text at 1:13 I think that it is likely they recreated large parts of this from scratch, using elements extracted from the original at certain points. The reason I think this is that the original has the scrolling text come in in a way that is hard to describe but looks a bit like stretching. It is not present in this video and is quite tricky to pull off, which I know because I'm currently trying to recreate the video in blender and that scrolling text in the background was so difficult that I gave up on doing it in blender and spent a full day struggling to do it in davinci resolve. I hope that wall of text helped.
