    Love river fishing for eyes as well. One thing you may want to try is a turtle bag to keep your fish in. So much easier than a stringer and it keeps the fish healthier and when in the bag they don’t thrash around either.

    I took a walleye out of the freezer to cook for my wife and I last night. The only reason that is remarkable is because there are no walleye living anywhere near us (on the northern California coast.) Cool video once again dude! Good patience sticking with the spot, you probably do need a new bag of lures and it's because most of them got torn up by the intended reason and not snags. • @Ray56z
      @Ray56z Год назад

      @@RiverCertified They say there aren't, and I haven't caught/seen any, but the word is there aren't any flatheads either which is bull. There's plenty of perch, don't really think walleyes are this far south. You didn't keep the perch? It's illegal to keep bluegill/sunfish species captured with a cast net. Stupid rule, can target numerous salt gamefish with a cast net, can't hardly keep any could be bait-used fish in fresh.
      I was fishing walleyes in N.E. Mo./S.E. Ia., lived on the stateline. Also lived north of you on both branches of the DesMoines-Humbolt/Dakota City-and the lakes around there and southern Minn. Walleyes were as thick as bluegills back then.

It will push the walleye away. How many times do you cast on a spot. Catch a walleye, then its bass, bass,bass ?

      I get that feeling. I've been traveling more than I care to this year because of our drought, but it was nice to get back on the small stuff. Glad you enjoyed it man.

    Spencer, what’s your go-to rig for spots like these? Jig? Spinner? We’ve got tons of water like this in Wyoming, so just wanna get your opinion! Cheers!

      I love fishing a jig and swimbait. I linked the ones I use and helped design in the description. Drastic Plastics. You can definitely catch them on a jerkbait in shallower water or a floating rapala when they're aggressive. Hope that helps man!

      It's a 7' ML. That's my prefered size for tossing jigs from 1/16 to 3/16.

    Nice stringer! Serious question - do you make more if people watch the whole ad vs skip the ad when the option to skip comes up? Not many channels I would say I will watch the whole ad if it makes any difference but yours I would…
