      Good luck on your goal, that’s awesome. Whatever agency you get hired on by will have their own policy, which will dictate what gear you are allowed to use. Some even issue you all the gear you need anyways. If it’s allowed, this is a great duty belt! Thanks for watching!

    Great video and duty belt set up. I have my Condor TATICAL Elite belt with the Cobra buckle to got it two years ago and use it for range or competition. My Chief only allows Sam Brown Belt 94 or buckle belts in black or basket weave. But since Bianchi came out and it's only 35 or 40 bucks we can wear them in basket weave or straight black. I have my pouches in safariland basket weave. I use a Sig Sauer P 320 45 ACP on duty.

    My man once again, nice job. I also run a ronin but mine is the “senshi”? The one with the d ring and it is LEGIT. I swapped out the inner belt for the ciguera gear belt with the Velcro loop on the outside and wow just wow. My area of operations is a bit more remote so I carry an m4 all day everyday and along with that an extra mag behind my pistols. Oh and a dump pouch for as I have found that to be like a third hand to hold shit for me. Again, great video!

    Ronin is a great belt, but if you ever need to have it replaced go and look at lead devil usa, they are military/leo owned and operated. They also give discounts to leo/military also.

    AWS makes these belts, order from them and save money. They give you the option to get the belt with a 1.5 inch inner belt instead of the 2 inch as this one come with. Saves you 65 bucks from having to buy a 1.5inch belt afterwords.

      Pretty much just like every other duty belt just like this i.e. Blue force Gear, Haley Strategic, Lead Devil, etc. right side of the cobra buckle there’s extra belt length, you just pull to tighten to fit you.

    How’s the Blue alpha gear MOLLE LEO 2 inch duty belt?
    I want to use it in a LEO patrol capacity so I’d need OC spray, baton, taser, and handcuffs. I was wondering how quick the draw is on those items and if there’s good companies that make MOLLE compatible holsters for LEO specific gear.

    • @SabertoothDefenseSystems
      @SabertoothDefenseSystems  Год назад +1

      I’ve never used that belt so I can’t say. I’m sure it will work fine though. Safariland makes good pouches, but I’m a big fan of ZeroNine Holsters for all the gear you’ll need to carry. But if you’re talking about duty holsters for firearms, that’s agency specific. Whatever department you join is going to dictate what brand firearm holster and in all honesty what gear you’re allowed to use on patrol. Check your policy first. If you aren’t an LEO yet, then wait till you join a PD or Sheriff’s office before buying gear.

    • @SabertoothDefenseSystems
      @SabertoothDefenseSystems  Год назад

      Malice clips and it doesn’t move around at all. Mainly depends on how tight the Molle loops are on your belt

      Probably about a week and a half of practicing removing the mags and placing them inside. They were tight at first so dry fire practice will definitely help wear them in

    What’s your opinion on a double handcuff case in front of you holster instead of one on the front and back of your duty belt

    • @SabertoothDefenseSystems
      @SabertoothDefenseSystems  2 года назад +1

      There’s plenty of people I work with that roll with one double cuff case in front of the holster, and they seem to like it. I see an advantage to having one in front and one in the back. Say you’re wrestling around with a suspect and have your body pinned on top of him to keep him down, it’ll be much easier to grab your cuffs behind your back rather than have to get up off of the bad guy to get your handcuffs. Food for thought, and that’s been my experience. But I see nothing wrong in the double cuff cases!
      Thanks for checking out the video, hope it helped!

  • @coloshootr2945
    @coloshootr2945 Год назад +1

    Learn from the mistakes of us "old guys" and get that pouch off the rear of your belt. It may seem okay now but you'll be paying for it later with lasting back pain if you don't.

  • @jspur_1175

    I don’t understand why patrol guys now wear a holster on a qls then also take the hood off a level 3 holster making it a level 1. Y’all ain’t worried about someone grabbing ya gun and taking it??

    • @SabertoothDefenseSystems
      @SabertoothDefenseSystems  2 года назад

      #1 You can’t take your gun into a jail so the QLS helps to take the gun off but staying protected in a holster where the trigger can’t be actuated.
      #2 Some cops use the hood and some don’t. Personal preference. Part of our training is to always be mindful of who is around us and where our firearm is positioned, and we also receive defensive tactics training to help us maintain control of our firearm. Sure, I know it seems like it’s easier to take the gun, but part of the game is having good Officer safety tactics, like your positioning when approaching or dealing with suspects, having contact/cover officers, and maintaining distance.
