Sara and Christine this topic was so sweet. I laughed, cried and felt so much emotions. I’m a first time mom myself. Had a healthy pregnancy, giving birth went well, until it didn’t. They sent me home knowing my water broke, 3cm dilated, with contraction at 5 mins apart. When I got back to the hospital the baby’s head was crowning and I was rushed to push. They didn’t even hook me up on to anything.
As my final statement entering motherhood is so scary I felt so much anxiety the first couple weeks. You wanting to protect and care for that child comes with so much anxiety.

So glad you enjoyed the discussion! 🥹 We’re sorry about your birth experience, but so happy that the baby came out healthy! Thank you for sharing your experience. You and the panel’s vulnerability will help current and future moms. ❤️❤️

To add, yes having the father there is important I wanted my husband to cut the cord, cutting the cord means giving your child their first breath. I wanted him to see that feel that moment.
