Sick vid! Very helpful only thing I'm wondering is, is the seal just a picture or is there something specific to you as the seller or the item that will combat people stealing and altering the photo for their own use?
Hey Are Bee. The Certilogo Seal shows your item and the code, plus it has some built in security features. Let's say someone copies it and puts it on a listing for a fake product that looks the same at first glance. The person selling the fake will have a different user name and maybe even a different marketplace. So when a buyer checks the code in our system (certilogo.com) and reports where the item is for sale, we know right away that the buyer is looking at a copied Seal and it's not legit.

You say not to list your certilogo number in pictures in your listing, but the certilogo authentic seal has the number on it still. Isnt this exactly the same as listing a picture of the tag? I mean, buyers will still have to input the number whether they got it from a picture of your tag or the certilogo seal. I'm confused.
obtaining the certilogo seal lets certilogo know that the item will be up for sale. Certilog , so they won't find is suspicious as the owner of the item has informed certilogo that the item will be expecting different levels activity i.e. people checking the code.

Hi Jacky_Boy. We love these :) People selling fakes knock themselves out trying to copy the tags on the products, and now the Seals online. But even when the copies look nearly perfect, our system knows the difference. The key as a buyer is not to rely on what you see; you have to enter the number at www.certilogo.com. The tag or the seal is just the messenger to deliver the code numbers. The security is online, when you enter the numbers and answer the questions about where the product is for sale and who's selling it.
@Certilogo : Hello, I saw on a second-hand sales website a product with a visible certilogo. Out of curiosity, I checked the product on your site and it was declared authentic. So, could counterfeits appear with this same certilogo? Given that counterfeiters are certain that it is identified as genuine, there could not be 100,000 products with this same valid certilogo?
And if so, what prevents counterfeiters to buy a genuine product and to decline its code to infinity ... I admit that all this worries me because I do not want to buy an expensive product while it's worthless ...
Roymdj Sorry we missed your question earlier. An authentic Certilogo tag that gets exposed online will get locked down by our AI as soon as people start checking it and saying they own the product (when they actually don’t). The code can be reset by our team at help@certilogo.com, but it’s a hassle and annoying to buyers. Making the Certilogo Seal (basically a Certilogo tag for use online) avoids all that and gives buyers an answer instantly, every time.
Fakes are another story. Like you said, counterfeiters typically take a legit code (that answers authentic) and copy it onto a batch of replica tags. Counterfeiters are seriously motivated ($£€) so replica tags can look virtually perfect to the eye, but our Artificial Intelligence picks them out instantly when you do the online check.
It’s the same with a copied Certilogo Seal, btw. The security is not in how it looks (because anyone with Photoshop can make a passable copy). The security is the online verification.

Can you do a video about thebrandcloset and discount2dayonline ? These websites claim to sell 'authentic' items but I have a hunch that they're both run by the same people. These clothes are sometimes over 50% off of the original value. There's no way that these could possibly be real. Although the moncler pieces do come with the code.moncler.com codes I do believe that these could be fake labels after seeing this video. These are all promoted on Facebook and unknowing people are wasting their money on fakes.

On Certilogo website in the FAQs area they state:"When used properly, a Certilogo Code is good for the life of a product and can be verified as often as needed."
probably means if scanned once in a while by one person. if its online itll be scanned in a ton of different areas and that seems sketchy
