M&M Perritt Maybe she actually can't do these hairstyles, african american hair is very different from Meredith's hair. Her hair is probably very thick and curly, and not the white girl version of thick and curly because that is not even close. I speak from experience as I am part african american and I have huge, unmanageable, long, thick, and curly hair that's basically a giant afro when it's natural. When my hair isn't straightened which takes approximately 5 hours to do a good job, it would be impossible for me to do any of these styles. Also, some people with that hair type choose to get their hair braided into a set style or other options to make it more manageable. So please for future reference, don't talk about things you don't understand.
Angelica Cassidy ( I'm on my dad's account but anyway) true black peoples hair tend to be more dry then Caucasian hair. So therefore they don't have very many hairstyles choices and resent to washing their hair rarely so they don't loose there very small amount of oils in there hair! But since I'm Caucasian I don't really experience any of these problems!
