What got my hooked on Lovell wasn't the fact they widen his vocals by offsetting them, it wasn't even his flow.
It's how literally every single one of his tracks has a dark, distant feel to it. Like you're looking out into an endless gloomy fog in a cold mountain scape somewhere never before seen, but also a nostalgic comfort.
