      Coincidentally, Akane’s nickname is Gorilla 🦍 Yes. You definitely understand what the Maids are about!
      Now check out one of their instrumentals “Onset”

      @@philproffitt8363 I think these two are great suggestions. If you want to spice it up a little bit, do a double reaction. Onset is a good example. There is a "white room video/studio video", where they focus on each member while they play, and a live version, which I guess is what MusicMike had in mind?

    Miku, with the red rose🌹, is the rhythm guitarist and second vocalist, and also founder of the band.
    Saiki, with the blue rose, is the main vocalist.
    Kanami, in milk maid costume, is the lead guitarist and main composer.
    MISA, in all black, is the lead bassist.
    Akane, at the back, is the drummer🦍

    Everyone in the band plays an instrument and some play several.
    MISA's bass player is versatile on several instruments; piano, alto horn, trumpet, and when she was in 11th grade she tried the bass guitar and fell in love with the instrument. Listening to her, I think she is strongly influenced by her time with the electric guitar? She's not satisfied with playing a "traditional" bass, where you just follow the song to make the sound fuller. Because she and Kanami (the lead guitarist) are so extremely musical and understand music so well, they both play what they think the song needs to create the right feeling from the lyrics. This is why you can often hear MISA playing parts of a song more as the lead guitarist and Kanami filling in, and in other parts they switch roles. All this makes their music never boring to listen to. I myself have noticed several times that when I listen to their songs I hear things I never thought of. It's always like that, just because their songs are so well structured.

    It's interesting that you likened Akane's drumming to Bonham. Apparently, after seeing the band in concert, Jimmy Page asked to meet Akane. One has to speculate that he saw something about her style that matched his old Led Zeppelin band mate. You said Akane's style was Gorilla like Bonham. Well, "Gorilla" is one of the fans' nicknames for Akane. In their music videos, you will note that she is always eating, and in the concerts, she quite often has a banana during the breaks. Their concerts are 20 to 30 songs long, and these breaks give Saiki a break (throat polyp surgery back in 2017 or 2018), but also allows Miku to rev up the crowd with her pigeon persona. Keep in mind, they are café maids giving the Masters and Princesses servings on which a spell has been cast.... Yes, Miku got her idea for the band from her time working in a maid café.

    Miku's last name is Kobato, which means Little Pigeon. That's why she ends her sentences in Po. Because in Japan, pigeons don't Coo they Karuppo. Akane's name is pronounced in three syllables, (Ahh-Kah-Nay). The Lead Guitarist is Kanami.

    As for the drummer, Akane (A-Ka-Ne). Listen to what she does during each verse and chorus. You'll notice that she changes her drumming a little each time and does each part differently, but it still fits into the whole. I think that shows how good she is musically. You mentioned her feel for the drums and how steady she is, how she's in the pocket all the time. I love her as a drummer.

      @Remek58R 17 часов назад +2

      @@SattzFFKobato is the Japanese word for "small pigeon", so that's why you'll see lots of pigeon references to her. She also claims to be half human and half 810 year old pigeon. The Japanese word for the sound a pigeon makes is "Karuppo", shortened to "Po" by Miku who uses it all the time at the end of sentences when she's speaking (even during interviews). Her social media posts are always littered with "po"s, too

    Another great reaction! It turns me off when the rock musicians start showing off their super technical fast picking long guitar/bass solos or fast hitting drum solos. Playing instruments and creating good music is not a technical competition. Thanks for sharing! Request: Manners/Blackhole combo live mv🤘

    Interesting fact:
    Jimmy Page heard a Band Maid concert and the drummer reminded him of John Bonham.
