As a tall person, I can confirm that LTS (aka Long Tall Sally) is definitely a bolo! I used to shop from their website directly (before reselling) and everything would sell out so quickly. There's definitely a market for their stuff!
I usually make a list of everything I take in and then check off what I have left so I can see my average profit per item. I usually add in my spreadsheet and then copy and paste in a word document. It seems like extra work but it’s the only way I know to track for a cost.
I have a hard time with the distressed jeans. I grew up in the 80’s and we were poor. We lived on a dairy farm (pre economic collapse in the 80’s). I got teased and bullied a LOT for having pants with even small holes. So my head just can’t wrap around the destroyed style. Guess I am old. 😂
Platos gives me an itemized receipt each time. I just ask and they say no problem :-) Don’t be scared! It really helps me to see and understand what particular items they pay more for so I know what to source for them
What's funny is I saw that horse sweater and I said, "Coldwater Creek" right away. I was surprised I was right, but we see that a little more here in the Midwest. ☺️
Keep the canisters, and once you don't want them any longer, just list them. ❤ Love the horse jacket. I like how you describe the items that helps when i find something similar.
I say keep the canisters and then if you come across other ones that you like that aren’t worth much, sell the longaberger ones. I think they are from the woven traditions line which I believe is discontinued so they will always be worth a decent amount. My neighbor was moving last year and put a huge box of the woven traditions line of plates and mugs in various colors on the curb for free. I made hundreds from selling that stuff. I still have a few pieces left but most has sold. 🤑
I took two totes to Uptown and the manager approached me and said I was bringing too much in at one time. Kinda chewed me out in front of everyone shopping in the store. Made me feel really uncomfortable! I’m here in Colorado Springs. And I guess I came in one day too soon? The manager chewed me out for that too!! I had no idea about the once a week. Haven’t been back since!
@@cammieprice4158 its funny because I have seen at least 3 of her employees at the bins. I wonder if she knows she herself is also a reseller 😂 Last time I was buying 3 pairs of shoes and she asked if I wanted to try them on and I said no thanks I am just going to resell them. I could tell she was not happy about that. She said "oh you can sell them for more than our prices? Yes, yes I can 😂

I think you find some really great items, but you seem to not give yourself enough credit in most of your videos:)) I think the fact that you have a successful business & a great RUclips channel, is something to be really proud of! This being said, you deserve to keep the canisters! 😊

I personally would not use a mannequin as it adds too much time to a listing and isn’t necessary in my opinion. The bags are linked in our Amazon link in the description of this vid ❤
Cathy, you empty a bin on the table, show the items and throw the items back in the SAME bin? Why not separate into Once upon A Child bin, your eBay bin, Buy Sell Trade bin, personal bin, to be washed bin and etc. You are creating more work for the both of you. It is hard to watch.

Longaberger was a basket company made in Ohio. Very popular in 80’s and 90’s. Their building was shaped like a basket. And they made pottery too

We explained in the beginning we didn’t have any extra bins unfortunately.
We have one week off and that is too long in my opinion.
