Tom’s Baja Telecaster Strat was most likely built by Fred Stuart. He’s a Fender master builder that made several baritones in the 90’s, of the Strat and Tele variety with that 30” scale neck spec

Side note: I really don't get why Tom insists on having a longer scale length for down tuning to D/C# lol, normal 24" scales have no issue detuning to those tunings... 😅

When Tom called Padre “the old seafoam”, do you think he was just mistaken, and that green with the punker inlays was surf green or surf Pearl? Or was that one (green hurley) confirmed seafoam? I know the lighter green we’ll never know (aged surf green, aged sweet pea, :shrug:)
