    Absolutely loved this scene purely because Michael Caine was raised in Eastend, giving him no high class standard or posh accent and here played a very fortunate fellow who shot tigers for a living and knew his car inside and out. Loved it! Only he could pull of this kind of role

    The scene was entirely improvised - improvisation is a very good method, especially when exploited at its full potential.

    £200 that’s only £3,600 in todays money? Imagine that for 2 years storage. But I guess you could buy a house for £6000 in those days, so it a like £150,000 now really
