  • Is a 12 volt car blanket a viable option for car camping in the winter? In this video, I test the High Road heated fleece blanket. If you have a separate battery, having a heated car blanket might be a great option for you. If you're just traveling in the winter, I have found this blanket warms up faster than the car's heater and is quite a luxury to have while driving!

Finally, it is being used. Yes, the blanket isn't really that big, but it warms your "toes" nicely!! YIKES, 14 degrees is WAY BELOW FREEZING!!! 🐱 A "toasty" warm blanket with a 30 degree temperature means the blanket is a success!!! I'm also impressed. Wonderful review, Rachel! YES, it is practical!! ♨👻

A timer and you may have been up all night warm, then cold, then warm, then...😫
Not noticing it get warmer or cooler and run all night with 57% battery sounds like a solid win. That leaves you enough battery to make breakfast too.
Maybe get a 2nd one for when its REALLY COLD. Upper body, lower body or both.
Have a Great weekend Rachel 🙂

Just an idea: buy a real electric blanket, Light Socket to Plug Adapter and 100' extension cord. Use your creativity, some parks have light bulbs going all night, unscrew bulb, plug in adapter, attach extension cord to plug in and electric blanket and walla, heat... Commercial building more likely than not, have exterior electric plug ins...you get the idea

You can just turn your battery on or off where the blanket is plugged in

Does the cable disconnect from the blanket for washing? The one I have doesn’t have a cable that can be disconnected so I can’t wash the blanket. :(

A small heating blanket doesn’t take that many watts to use.

The cat should sleep under the covers with you. It's too cold for a cat.
