I love how you describe living a softer life being an antidote to anxiety. Cultivating gratitude really helped me too

    All good tips!!! 👏☺️
I've personally never struggled with excessively trying to be liked by people since I know that I don't like everyone in return, and that's perfectly fine (it's sometimes just an innate feeling 🤷‍♀️). But I'm also very stubborn so that might be why I have it so easy to not compromise on my beliefs and boundaries to please others 😅
Agreed about not making everything you enjoy/hobbies into money-making ventures but with your sewing, you could easily incorporate it into this channel (like a monthly video of "what I sewed this month/lookbook"). It might make you more motivated to keep it up but on the downside, it could also start making you resent the hobby...so it's entirely up to you what you do with it 😜💕
Good luck with your move! They are always a hassle, but so worth it in the end!!! 💪😤

The ad playing during your show is the movie 'Drive Away Dolls', I let it run all the way through, so hopefully you'll get paid something for this nice video.

I loved this format, like I was sitting down and talking with you as a friend, and you have so much wisdom!
Gratitude - I really felt this. Lately I’ve felt like I’m drowning, and gratitude really helps to combat that negative voice in my head. I have a gratitude journal but rarely take time to use it! Thank you so much for this reminder! Gratitude is truly grounding.
TikTok - YES!! Everything you say is so true. I really feel that TikTok brings out the most unhealthy of mental status- perhaps due to its format- and just feels so unprofitable and negative. I want to cheer for you in this endeavor to cut back on TikTok. ❤❤❤
Less hard on yourself/Acceptance - I really struggled with “hiding” who I really was /compromising in order to feel accepted by others. It was definitely a coping mechanism, as a child who didn’t feel secure or loved unconditionally, that I carried into adulthood. I would try to agree with others, not rock the boat, or say what I truly thought, in order to not offend anyone. I’ve been learning to find my voice lately, and embrace that not everyone will like me, and that’s okay. It’s been such a relief to have the pressure lifted from my shoulders!
Rushing - I am a “rush”-er!! One of my goals this month is to slow down. Make a cup of tea. Enjoy a treat. Listen to soothing environmental sounds. Breathe.
Fun - I don’t think I fully realized how important this is until lately, when I came to realize that I had all but destroyed my enthusiasm for hobbies if it did not yield a result. For instance, I love drawing and painting. But am I going to make an Etsy shop and try to sell sketches or artwork? No. And that’s okay. I can draw a spirited horse galloping through the meadow because I WANT to, and it’s not wasting my time. It’s fun, it’s relaxing, and it’s what I love to do. It’s not taking away from things I “should” be doing; it’s “filling my cup”. ✨✨
Homemaking - it’s so beautiful that this is on your list! I am actually a homemaker, with 4 kids, and every day is a challenge but also an opportunity to bring joy to my life & my family.
I am so excited for this new chapter in your life! We need more topics like this. It’s a wonderful thing to step back and examine how we can reduce stress & uplift ourselves so we can be the best versions of ourselves. ❤

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my video🥰 I relate to you in so many ways!
It's so lovely to hear that you're a homemaker yourself! I have recently been putting much more of my time and energy into our home and little family, as well as leaning into my feminine and it has just been so life-giving! Not just for me, but also for the ones closest to me♡ I truly believe that homemaking is so beautiful and important, but also quite rare nowadays!
      Sending you lots of love.
