@@ProdbyTrehnt Start with a good course on excel, follow it with a good course on sql and then a dashboarding tool like tableau or powerbi. All the best :)
Tech Coach I took a CIS class that showed us a lot of fundamentals with excel, tableau and R but I’m looking to take it to the next step... I don’t know if I should study more to go into an entry level data position or BI internship?

Thanks This is very good. We are having ODS implementation in hadoop and I am not clear on the Master/Transaction partition concept, can you please direct me to some sources to understand this better and in general ODS.
The basic partition and segmentation strategy should be simple . Segment the facts and replicate the small dimensions among nodes. Segmentation should be done to distribute fact data evenly between nodes and then we can further partition the data based on our data usage strategy ( Joins). The idea is to minimize network traffic among nodes for query execution.

I have a doubt ODS is normalized or denormalized data?
Can you compile a video on ODS vs Staging Table? or suggest the source to understand the difference.
Staging tables have raw data from source system while ODS data is much more structured for reporting or downstream application purposes
