Plane Spotting - Part 1 | Saying Good Bye to the Queen (VT-EVA)

- We went to give a farewell to our Queen of the skies - B747 of Air India.
Air India had last 4 B747s named VT-EVA, VT-EVB, VT-ESO, VT-ESP. When TATA acquired Air India last year, they didn’t need these old birds. So last year they were de-registered by DGCA.
As they are now sold to US based Aersale company which is aftermarket aircraft part seller, they will be moved to Seattle, US.
They have got temporary American registration N940AS by FAA. And here the journey for VT-EVA with Air India comes to an end.
Two of these aircraft will be used as freighter over there, while the rest of two will be dismantled for the parts.
Queens have proved their worthiness during evacuation of people from War-zones to Transporting relief supplies during Covid.
These aircrafts were used for VVIP movements like to carry President, Vice President & Prime Minister of India.
It was very emotional movement for all Aviation Enthusiasts including the people who worked with them or flown with them.
I worked with them during my internship, but I think my dream to fly with them will be a dream only.
Call it a Jumbo-jet or Queen of the Skies, it is a true legend who served our country since last 3 decades.
Air India is first one to introduce wide body jet in Indian aviation, and remains only airline to operate B747.
It is a Queen of Maharaja and it will be forever in our hearts. ❤️

I work at Boeing, this plane took off in India on the morning of April 22nd, 2024 and landed in Everett Washington to have its final inspections and fuel. I saw her took off for the Mojave Desert so she can lay to rest… 😢long live the queen. It’s an honor to see the remnants of the 747 still fly when she took off for her final stop.
Thanks for the information 🙂❤️
@@travelingromeo6078 edit on my correction… not Mojave Desert, New Mexico and its most likely there
@@TheOnlyFalcon17Yeah, its being dismantled at Roswell, NM.
I thought it was being converted to a freighter
@@sachinshah1618 it’s going to its seller that bought off the plane. Two will be scrapped and the other two will be converted to freighters.
It was really very emotional moment. We all will miss the Queen so much 👑✈️. And your video editing is so perfect ♥️🥰👏👌

4:27 anyone noticed another Air INDIA boeing 747 was parked there
Yes sir .. watch the part-2 for all the 3 remaining B747s
i was in Mumbai airport about 2 weeks before the 747 was going to depart and I saw it on the side of the airport and I caught its eye on the side where there were a few more 747's but I'm not sure if this was the exact one. it was in this livery/ scheme though.
May be it’s VT-ESO that you have seen. Because that one was parked at T2 apron.
Definitely she is only Queen of the sky
🙂❤️
Bro is this the last flight of B747
Atleast last from BOM base .. It will be converted into cargo plane .. and will be used in US before getting scrapped. But two of them will be scrapped soon.
B747 will always be a queen 👸💖
