World Book Day 2021 at Birtenshaw Merseyside School

We recently celebrated World Book Day and created a little video to showcase what learners and staff got up to.
All the staff and students dressed up as their favourite book characters or dressed in pyjamas for a bedtime story.
Today's activities are about reading and celebrating the love of books. Learners have been building and decorating their own gingerbread houses.
They have been taking part in sports activities and outdoor play. Some of the younger learners have been reading to the older learners and overall, everyone has had lots of fun!
