Exactly what I did my whole career ,reading books, taking seminars, watching other artist work that I liked. I started tattooing in the 90’s. Before RUclips. And it was almost impossible to get in to a shop then. I put tattooing aside for a while and started a family. After our kids grew up and moved out I started back tattooing with more of a drive then ever. 7 days a week I slept, eat and breathed tattooing it did and has consumed everything I am. A year ago I got an opportunity to work for a tattoo shop in my home town that has been around for ten years. I had always wanted to work there and now I do. So I goes to show if you work hard and devote yourself to this craft you can become a tattooist.

hey bud, thAnk u and so muCh grAtituDe in your shaRes, im a tattooist, realism. my whole life ive been drawn to charcoal and graphite. realism..
      i tell people dis,
I'm a visual artist, put charcoal I can draw you to a T so when it comes to understanding that person I see truth in the lie, truth in the truth, truth in your eyes, truth in your body. I c it all... Because I've been drawing my whole life, animals and people. to a T, capturing emotions in eye, studied the anatomy. As I capture feeling in the eyes, truth may show is it so, by what is shown in the stance of the body.

that's the thing with most tattooers, is the point at which you understand your hand speed versus machine speed. there really is no need for single stiff pass at 12 volts lol, after years and years a tattooer will understand the little delicate techniques needed for whatever style ! just dont give up!

I've met too many tattoo artists who don't like to give up there tips and tricks and dont offer genuine good advice. Ur the only artist other than me have I heard say That you dont have to be great at drawing and freestyling without a stencil to be a good tattoo artist. Long as u can FKN TRACE take ur time try ur best. I ALSO literally learned EVERTHING I know and continue LEARNING from watching studying RUclips and Instagram videos. My tattoos evolved because of David. During covid lockdowns I saw his work and it just changed me. I never dared get into portrait tattoos untill then. I've watched his videos and lives thousands of times and have put in thousands of hours in practice to. His technique is the only way I can tattoo. No where near where thr master is at but I'm growing everytime I turn on that machine. I've only posted a few practice skins on here but you can see what I mean. Practice skins and real skin is definitely not the same but it helps build technique with repetition :)
    Thanks for these videos brotha

Sorsa using the Packer as Daniel silva and mister troshin. Sorsar portrait tattoos takes 7 sessions. With this technique he cant make it in few hours. Nicki using the liner. But Jason Ramos using all Chinese machines and makes the same results all the time. And he does make the tattoos with more contrast and faster than Sorsa.

This was so incredibly helpful!! Thank you so much for this video. Normally when I'm trying to learn I don't know the right questions to ask, it's like I watch but don't know what information I should be taking in, but you explaining what you're trying to digest was invaluable for my learning!
