I have taken a few of my double willowleafs and removed the upper willowleaf blade. I'm experimenting with moving the now single blade closer to the tie in loop just a scooch. A lot of the compact/finesse spinnerbaits are hard to find in heavier weights, and their blades already go back way past the skirt. This helps clean up the profile a little and gets the blade over the top of the bait a little better. Less lift. Less torque to "roll" the bait when you want to churn and burn. Keep the extra blades in the boat and you can do a lot of tweaking on the water to get more or less lift/speed.
That’s a great idea! I’ll have to do that. I prefer that my blades not extend way past the hook. So I like to keep some small tubing to space my blades up a bit on the frame.
great choice of baits
They all work pretty well year round, but shine in the fall for sure 👍

Please make videos on night fishing for bass in the Spring, Summer and Fall
I can do that! I love night fishing! Especially in the summer and early fall
I’m a beginner in fishing. I only have the beginner baits and Lures.
You dont need a lot of baits. Dont get caught up in the lures. Practice with the ones you have
