Hoping to go back on the Midland Mainline down to London when all this lockdown stops, thinking of saving up all my loose change and making a short trip of it next year.
The only way they’d remove the weeds and shrubs from around the line is if there’s a risk to safety or structural integrity to structures around the line. They had to start work on a load of trees by my house on the wharfedale line in Leeds as they were deemed to be a safety risk.
HST in th EMR livery looks too good to get rid of...HST shud live forever....convert em to leccy lol..stick a panto on em...voyagers too look cool...HST`s little brother...they sound like HST a tad...I like voyagers nice variety of locos there at yard too...37`s and I see a 30 or two.also a 47 ? and mebbe an 87.and 86 ?.what else they have there and are they being restored ?...hope so. particularly like watching trains negotiate busy junctions,Cardiff Central....Canton yard end is good for this.with a lot of tracks in the junctions...see some twisty trains lol...
It create the EMR intercity logo on them that nice.
They seem to have changed the livery name relatively quickly on a lot of trains!
So they dont lose identity lol...they want people to know their trains....im suprised Leicester aint electrified...just noticed.

Add captions with the headcode and origin/destination, it would add a lot of context
Brilliant filming but will it ever be possible to have a simple origin/destination per train on screen?

Henry Murray this is sort of typical to see around England and Scotland personally it gives a nice touch 2 the station.

The station is looking a bit tired it needs a total makeover the sooner the better please.

I guess it’s just me but I’m not a fan of EMR liveries ☹️
Rolling also some of them are outdated and two cars should be replaced with newer models.
