    Great tutorial. I might of missed it but can you set up in the training area. Can you set it to vibrate or shock when the dog gets a certain distance from the hand held.

    Nice information. Did you ever do videos on the older Astros? Thanks

    Good evening, inside the Alpha200i handheld I inserted a 64gb memory card. I tried to install satellite images via Base camp directly on the memory card and up to here everything is OK.
    But I noticed that PDA doesn't load these maps that are on the card. Is there any problem?.
    Thanks

    Can I simply add my dogs and track them at the same time while my son is using the current Alpha 100? And see where he is btw.

    Hi. One question. Is 200i worth upgrade compare Alpha 100 for basic hunt with 2 or 3 dogs?

    I hunt chukar in NV and we are as remote as you can possibly get in the lower 48. I was going to order an inreach mini in case we break down or get stuck and just saw that this unit has inreach programmed in! So cool. Just placed my order today from you.

    could i stick a long range aerial on my alpha 100 (leaving it in the truck) and then connect to a 200i in the field to increase the range? thanks

    • @OutdoorDogSupply
      @OutdoorDogSupply  3 года назад

      No, for the best results you can connect your Alpha 100 or 200i to a roof mount. Or use a long range antenna - like our Super Extendable Antenna - out in the field for the best results.

    What about the other goodies. Covers, Antana, screen protectors, etc when will that stuff be avaliable?

    • @OutdoorDogSupply
      @OutdoorDogSupply  3 года назад

      Screen protectors and cases are coming soon - antennas, quick connects and mounts that work on the Alpha 100 also work on the Alpha 200i

    How do they do in the cold and in the snow?

    • @OutdoorDogSupply
      @OutdoorDogSupply  3 года назад

      Our top tester has trouble getting out of flip flops but it was designed for cold weather. That's why they went to more buttons and glove friendly interface. It's rigorously tested and is made to withstand just about anything you put it through.

    I don't know like in USA but in Europe Garmin Alpha 200i is pretty shitty. The range of GPS is maximum form 1 to 3 km.
