WESTCOTT X-DROP 5X7 BACKGROUND KIT REVIEW:HANDS ON
Interesting. I have not see this style of backdrop before. Could you do an episode on umbrellas some time, comparing usefulness of various sizes? Thanks and keep up the good work.
Yea when I found this I felt the same thing. Sure, I have a upcoming video planned to show that since I picked up a new umbrella recently!
You say wash and dry low but does the fabric stretch after it's hooked on the frame? Does hooking it to the frame take out any wrinkles? I'd hate to take this to a job site and find it has wrinkles and now I'm stuck with a wrinkled backdrop. Thanks for the video!
So you will have to take care of it, it will wrinkle pretty, basically its only downfall. But if you lightly iron or dry, it can easily help. But the frame does a decent job if there are any wrinkles
certainly looks it pal. Like you though im going more permanent with the back drop rolls etc. But this may be a good addition to the kit.
Loving the channel by the way.
John
Glad you enjoy it John, thanks for taking the time to watch.
Can I just use clamps thanks
Sure,. nothing wrong with a DIY
Thanks for the review. Can you use it sideways?
+ocubex not really, its really only built for just the stand.
Could you use Portraits with them types of Backgrounds?
Yup no problem!
***** Can you use the Flash on them Cams to Light up the Subject instead of using the stand up Lights
"very very" informative ;)
Thanks Antony, appreciate it.
Thanks
anytime!
What are the best lights to light this green screen??
I like continous lights, 85 watt bulbs. But since this screen isnt that large, a two flashes or strobes on the sides can easily light this
85 watt bulbs can easily light this green screen evenly I take what you're saying? Strobe lights and or Flashes?
I should have made clear, I am not a photographer I am a filmmaker. I am asking in the sense of what is the best lights from lighting it the top left pixel to the bottom right pixel evenly?
Do a bts shoot with the product.
I actually did one awhile back. It's an eye live shoot. My headshot one.
