The real reason about why Gregory let Cassie killed, but that's not Gregory, it's actually The Mimic. And the reason why I know that, it's because he can copy every voice to trick them once Gregory says Now it's free the speaker begin to change and the voice of The Mimic talking through the speaker

i don`t think Gregory was saying any of that ,even at the end,maybe Mimic and Burntrap teamed up to have a backup in case Cassie got away,bc William can manipulate anything with electronic.He would never do such thing,bc then the guilt would hit and he`d go after her himself also.And the Freddy we see in the ruin wasn`t our Freddy,bc there was prototype written on it.Our Freddy might be in the arcade with the DJ,bc thats the place we don`t go in ruin.Depending on the ending.Or if it was actually Gregory in the elevator,which would be weird considering the electronic in ruin barely works,the only explainable thing is that he got acess to it bc he`s in the ruin,but they never met bc he`s with Freddy,who`s in the arcade,which would make the elevator scene make sense,but then that would also mean that he only told her that to keep her there so he can find and save her. But these are only theories,but i don`t think Cassie`s dead,we can hear her hear Roxy`s voice at the end with the credits

Is not Gregory at the end of dlc is the mimic. At first when Cassie entered the elevator Gregory was talking but then the mimic took off the signal to Gregory and started talking the mimic
Ya that sound comes when something changes in this case the person who is speaking it went from Gregory to mimic I think the mimic went into panic because like casie was escaping but I don’t know how he broke the elevator
🤓 at the elevator ending you can hear the mimic cutting in so it wasn't Gregory so Gregory is a good guy!!

I love that detail I noticed that the moment I watched Eddie's playthrough and he got to the candy cadet and started the story It immediately clicked that it was a short story of the ruin dlc also me and Eddie hadn't seen any leaks he saw one or two but that was it I never saw any till I saw Eddie's videos on security breach ruin dlc also it's the special ed no other Eddie also he was becoming a tiny theorist whilst playing he was saying he doesn't think that it was Gregory talking to Cassie and that it was someone else because he thought no one was stupid enough to come back to the pizzaplex then the last time Cassie talks to the grimic it's voice glitches out a little so it basically confirmed it for Eddie that it wasn't gregory talking to Cassie and I was on the same page as Eddie and when we got to candy cadet I knew sorry for ranting also my favourite character in all of fnaf is candy cadet because I love LORE 😂 but seriously I love candy cadet for lore I just had to do a mat pat reference

You know, i really can't figure out what happened to the pizzaplex. The fact that vannys mask is separate from her and the fact that freddy is missing his head leads me to believe that this was after the good vanny ending. But then how did the pizzaplex get so rundown? There's no explicit evidence of a fire, just decay. But if this takes place so long after an ending that the place is falling apart, why would cassie believe that gregory is alive despite being stuck in a sinkhole? If it takes place after the burntrap fight, why is freddy missing his head, and why is he sporting injuries that come from being disassembled?

Like, the Mimic may have been in the lower floors under the Pizzaplex and some source of problems, but he wasn't yet in his jail if that's your question 😅
Since Ruin, the Princess Quest ending has been defined/retconned as SB's canon ending, so no fire or Burntrap.
There was an earthquake and the whole structure lost stability, with the sinkhole underneath and all - not a lot of time passed since SB, however the building also got halfway demolished when plans to reopen it after refurbishment were abandoned at some point.
Demolition then was halted or even abandoned itself - I think there's a wrecking ball at the atrium...
BTW Gregory being alive is believable to Cassie b/c it's not like he was supposed to have been down there all the time, I think the story the Mimic tells her as Greg is that supposedly he went down there (as the real Greg did some time before to build MXES, see eg. his backpack there) and then got trapped...
