Iirc it’s about the box itself not the card cuz evolutions( the box Scarra gave toast) is out of print meaning you can’t really get it anywhere anymore. Also if a box is sealed then the value of it skyrockets for collectors. It’s like an OG yugioh box sealed is worth 2k but the cards themselves aren’t worth a lot. Now if this was a modern set then it’s a bit different cuz you buy cases which are around 1k for A. Expensive alt arts B. Making a lot of decks C. Getting said alt arts for said decks Sorry should add this cuz if you get the card graded and it’s a 10 grade then it can be worth a lot of money

Normally I would think a box is worth something because people want to buy it and get a cool card worth more than the box but in this case the insides is junk o.O
@@LauritsTTCampen it honestly just depends on the game and the recency of the box. Anything sealed and out of print is usually valued the most rather than the individual cards. Games that have a rotation format or an eternal format with a banlist, the players will buy newer boxes which are cheaper and can give you more bang for your buck if you hit the right card, but also to keep playing.
Fun to see him get this excited for anything. Extremely rare he even gets 10% as excited as this.
