There is something really special about being presented a good meal, a meal that is so nutritious and fulfilling and delicious, there is nothing quite like a meal from Ha’Shem. Thank you rabbi Tovia Singer for serving such a meal every time you make a video. It keeps us coming back and quenches our thirst, and gives us an appetite for knowledge, and a yearning to please Ha’Shem. And all glory and praise belongs to Ha’Shem.
It fills my heart with warmth to see so many Noahides on RUclips. B”H, it’s wonderful 🥹 that so many people are discovering the truth of the Torah and the true Creator, the God of Israel.
Alien Beings know "Hashem" inside out. We are scared to death of God. This is why the universe is infinitely beautiful. Humans have a flawed interpretation God is a merciful, forgiving being. If he was, this entire universe would be overrun with evil. He is a Vengeful God. The "God Of Israel" is also the "God Of The Universe" for Alien & Human Beings.
I've listened to Rabbi singer for a long time and read his books etc.. This statement here he made is one of the sharpest most profound truths ever said about christianity "Jesus did not create a relationship between God and man, rather he interfered with it" .. brilliant Rabbi!
I have a challenge for you. Read the Jewish Scriptures,.. read it every day for at least a year, and then ask if a God/man sacrificing Himself to Himself to change a rule He came up with has anything to do with ANYTHING you've been reading about for the last year.
I have a challenge for you too. A week or so ago I asked God to show me if I am wrong for believing in Jesus. I asked God to show me the truth, if Jesus is not God, or if the New Testament is not the truth. I'm open to that because I want to know the truth. Not my own thinking. But the truth of God. So far He hasn't shown me anything that shows me that Jesus isn't God, or that the New Testament is not His Word, and not the truth. He hasn't changed my heart so far. I thought if I'm going to pray for the salvation of the Rabbi, and those here, I'd better be sure I know the truth myself. I've been open to God telling me the truth. My challenge is for you to do the same. Ask God to show you the truth if Jesus is God or not, and is the New Testament His Word, His Truth. Be open to the Truth of God.
I have a challenge for you, get a copy of the Quran and read it every day, and if you are a true believer to Allah the Almighty who Created every thing by ending reading it or maybe before that you will prostrate to worship him in a total submission as all his prophets and messengers did before.
The line about how Christianity will appeal to people of low self-esteem really landed on me. That was when I converted to Christianity. I was at one of my lowest points. I felt awful about myself, filled with shame. That was when the Christian message reached me. That can't be a coincidence... In fact, the conversion process amplified my shame and feelings of brokenness and inferiority - which at the time I interpreted as a spiritual breakthrough of some sort. I'm no longer a Christian - that was 25 years ago or so - but it was a powerful experience at the time. Thank you for pointing out the connection. And my condolences on your father's passing.
So sorry for your loss rabbi Tovia singer ,I have been watching and listening your lectures for more than 2 years , Thanks to you and others rabbis me and my family only believe in Hashem the only God , the God of Israel 🇮🇱,I will fly to Israel from London with my son next Monday 20th for 1 week in Jerusalem,I would like to know if you do any public events of any lectures? I would like to be in there ,Baruch Hashem 🙏
Dear Rab the pain will recede and your Tate's light will shine brighter to give you more strength and joy. It was a great blessing to have him in your life until recently and you certainly were also a blessing for him. I share your feelings. You will be ok soon. Hibuk. Bracha Beatzlacha. Am Israel Chai
I hate that I can’t leave comments when I’m watching this on television so I have to go on my iPhone so I can leave a message. Thank you so much for everything you bring to us.
I ❤ listening and learning from you! I am so blessed to have you in my life! Todah Rabah Rabbi Tovia Singer for all you do! May your father's memory forever be a blessing! May his neshama have the highest Aliyah!
Jesus was a barrier for me. I wanted to connect with God, but I couldn't do that in Christianity. I simply couldn't believe in the Christian ideas about Jesus and that made me believe that I also couldn't have a relationship with God. I gave up trying for over a decade and called myself a Pantheist so I would have an excuse not to try to find God anymore. Two years ago, I started wanting to connect with God again, but this time my search led me to Judaism and I discovered that I could connect with God within that framework. I do regret staying with Christianity for so long, but it was the only thing I knew. I thought it was something wrong with me, but I was only in the wrong place.
The church was the barrier not Jesus. God is available to all at all times and anyone can connect with him even if left alone as a baby in a island. This is part of God fairness. We need prophets and messengers for other purposes, for knowledge, answers, guidance....etc..
How can Jesus be a barrier to connect with God, when He is God. When I speak to Him, I speak to God the Father and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all the same time Because He is One. All three make up God in three persons. He hasn't changed my heart. And I'm open to knowing the truth of God.
@@julienielsen3746 I am undecided on the issues you mentioned. However, I think you have some bias in your approach. It doesn’t seem you are honestly seeking truth for truth sake. Instead, you are starting with questions you have all ready answered for yourself and have a prove me wrong logic. You are starting on the defensive with the arguments you already believe. You will go in circles. Instead, go through the scriptures and make a journal of every verse that supports Jesus is God and every verse that contradicts or challenges it. Consider what it means if he is and if he isn’t. Just a side note…if he is, what commands was he talking about when he said “if you love me keep my commandments?” Wouldn’t they be the ones he spoke to Moses face to face on Sinai?
@ Yes. All I have to do is ask God for the truth. As I said. I am open to the truth. Whatever it may be. I want to follow God in truth. As I said I did this a week ago. And I have not heard God say anything or show me anything about Jesus not being God, etc. I started out in my comment answering what @fiamedknuff said. God hasn’t told me that that is wrong yet. I’ve been through the Bible. And some of the scriptures in the “old testament” that are about Jesus. We still follow the ten commandments. And as Jesus told us - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”- Because all the commandments are in these two. Jesus did not abolish the 10 commandments. I hear Rabbi saying this. He’s wrong. No. I am not going in circles. As I said. God has not shown me my belief in Jesus is wrong. So, I do still stand on my belief in Jesus. Unless God tells me otherwise. Maybe you need to ask God to show you if what you believe is the truth. And should you believing Jesus as God.
Your point is so obvious, and yet so powerful. I am stunned in thought from it. Thank you so much sir. And may you be blessed through this special time of grief as it works itself out for you.
I love what the caller said…. “Covenant = agreement.” Perfectly said! I just recently immersed in a creek. (It was freezing 🥶 😂), when I went into the water, I told the Father that “I wanted to walk in His Way.” Rabbi, I did some horrible things. Things that I am too ashamed to say. My sins still weigh on me, in the form of regrets. I asked the Father to forgive me, and I repented. It gives me comfort to hear you say, that He is merciful and will forgive me. I believe that Y’shua came to show how to be obedient to the commandments. The book of Rom, Gal and 1 Tim are all Pauline doctrine, and are false. When Y’shua said that He came for the “lost sheep of the House of Israel,” we know that the northern kingdom was kicked out of the Land, and rightfully so, for indulging in pagan worship. I believe with all my heart, that you can find allot of the northern tribes in the “Christian church” today. There is a mass exodus of former “Christian’s” leaving the church and being DRAWN to the truth that “Y’shua said He didn’t come to abolish the Torah!” I believe the Father is using Y’shua to draw back Ephraim, and draw them back to the truth of Torah. So I believe with all my heart, that since allot of so-called “gentile Christian believers” are found in the church, then who else better to “find” the Lost Tribes then Y’shua? I sure hope that made sense. LOL I love Rabbi Feld and OvadYah. They agree that the church has in it, allot of the lost tribes of Israel. I know I’m fixing to get hit with allot of hate when I post this message, but I am seeking truth as much as anyone else on this platform. I am seeking God every single day, and I know that He loves me, and has a plan for me, and that He will reveal all truth to me since I am seeking Him with my whole heart. Shalom shalom Rabbi. Thank you for all you do! I am learning allot!
Not all the 10 tribes were taken into captivity, there were those who went to Judah. Lost children of Israel are those who assimilated through progroms, forced conversions throughout time that lost their identity. Read Esther you see many tribes returned but many stayed behind. Messiah will gather the children of Israel that are scattered in the 4 corners of the world.
We were taught that the testator of the old “Will/Testament” had to die for the “New Testament” to come in affect. Thinking about that now God didn’t die so his Torah didn’t pass away. Thank you so much for your teachings! My eyes and my husbands have been opened. We are now studying Hebrew and yes we both found an ancestor that was Jewish in our family tree. Amazing!
That is 100% why I left Christianity in college. I started reading Heschel and that was the turning point. Also, even by Jesus’ own reported words, Paul’s sacrifice theology doesn’t make sense. Jesus said you who are evil know how to do good- how much more your Father. I forgive without sacrifice, it is preposterous to propose that God wouldn’t.
That is because you don't understand sin. Forgiveness is costly. Let me give you a contemporary example to explain it. Recently I have been thinking about the war in Ukraine and one of the questions that seems to come up particularly in the recent lex fridman podcast is why can't Ukrainian just forgive Russia. Heck why can't Israel just forgive hamas. Surely it is that easy. Well in both cases it's not a case of impossible to forgive, it's that it's costly to forgive. Forgiveness doesn't erase the pain or the injustice experienced. Forgiveness means accepting the wrong that was done and not seeking payment. It means accepting the loss of loved ones and dealing with the heartache yourself. That is the sacrifice. So in order for Ukraine to forgive Russia not only will it take time, it will be costly as well it cannot be simply wiped away. The point is for God's forgiveness to really mean anything it has to be costly. It would be preposterous to suppose that Ukraine could just forgive Russia as though it was nothing. It's a ludicrous idea and when you understand sin for what it truly is. You realise the same is true for God. In order for God forgiveness to mean anything it has to be costly otherwise it doesn't mean anything. God might as well say oh you naughty little scamp I suppose I will forgive you as if that really meant something
@ I think you are conflating different issues with your analogy; things have consequences, for sure, but quite simply, if blood is required, and only by blood can forgiveness be had, then it isn’t forgiveness.
@@theunlearnedastronomer3205 the issue is you are not understanding the severity of sin. Sin is not oh I did something wrong but it's no big deal. It is more than that it's a wilful and purposeful act of rebellion against a holy and just God. Here is the thing you may argue well I don't do anything near as bud or I am not as bad as the worse criminals. That may be true but the same magnitude of forgiveness required for them to be forgiven is the same magnitude that you require. Why is that because you constantly fall short. There is a story in the new testament when Jesus is asked how often should someone by forgiven if they sin against them. Is seven enough he is asked. Jesus says no not seven but seventy seven times seven. Now on one level you could argue that Jesus is making a point about that we should always be ready to forgive and not keep a record of how much times that is definitely true but he is also pointing to a dilemma we have with God. No matter how many times God forgives us we keep sinning even though we know it is wrong and with that in mind it's pretty obvious that forgiveness should be out of the question here period. Why should God simply forgive if that forgiveness means nothing and we are just going to sin again? To play devils advocate on it why forgive at all if we don't even appreciate that forgiveness and are not deserving of it. This is why the same level of forgiveness is required it's like saying that you will just forgive an "alcoholic" Instead we need something that will make us stop in our tracks. That will make us sit and listen and take it seriously. I will give you annother contemporary example to illustrate it. When I was young I remember playing video games that I neglected spending enough time with my mum. One day I saw her being visibly upset and needless to say it changed my mind and I realised the harm I was doing. Now if my mum had just "forgiven me" would it have the same effect. No it would not. I needed to see the anguish in my mum to understand the harm. That's what the cross is when you truly realise the depth God was willing to go to and endure for you then you begin to understand the depth of your own sin and start to say how can I go on sinning
As a former Christian it seems that what was missing in my church education was a complete understanding of the “Old Testament including the Talmud and other sacred knowledge writings.
I would say that your characterisation of Christianity is the most widely held in the catholic and protestant world - but in fact it was created by later church fathers. It is called "penal substitutionary atonement". In the eastern church, unless i am mistaken, Romans is not interpreted in this way. But you're right that this is how it is in the west, for the most part (episcopalians and Quakers are less likely to hold this view)
What's left out and avoided in this video is that God created a sistemas where priests had to sacrifice animals in a temple for the forgivness of sins. It was the priest Who was a human mediador. He is conveniently left this out. Israelitas got to good through the priests, nowhere is there indicates a direct link to good by the average person. Is always the propietario and they the high priests.
B"H BS"D Peace be upon your father Kohen Rabbi Tovia Singer. A great man who gave forth to us a great learnt son. Your father is in the Holies of Holies with G-D, Aaron, Moses,..this is the GREATEST place in all the universes! 📘📜🕎✡️🖖🇮🇱🌅🌄🤵👰🍼IDF❤️💜💙💛🏡🏠🏘️🖐️ Sarah Aliyah Israel
You don't need a Priest when you have the blood of Yashua Messiah as an atonement for your sins. Confess your sins to YaHuWaH in the name of Yashua and keep the Commandments
Thank You Rabbi Tovia. This is another wonderful session. Quite enlightening. I feel so free to go to and talk to G-d, anytime and anywhere. I don't need an only passageway kind of, and the only one, to go through. I find that ideology restrictive. Shalom from the South Pacific.

When I was a child, faith was much simpler. Despite all the controversies and contradictions, it was simplified in everyday life. God was God. Jesus was the son of God in a spiritual sense, his father was Joseph. Mary was the Mother of God in a figurative sense, spiritually, because of Jesus. The Holy Spirit was an abstraction that was not discussed. A saint was a transmitter of prayers to God, an intermediary. The Old Testament was a part of the Bible that no one had ever read. The prayer book was more important than the Bible. The point of faith was to be a better person, to work on yourself. Everything functioned on a human level, there was no point in discussing the Holy Trinity because you didn't even understand it. The ordinary man dealt with faith, not theology. And we are talking about the time of communism, Yugoslavia (faith and religion were not banned). You either believed in God or you didn't. We have always said that we believe in God, not in a priest. After communism, the Church underwent changes, it was associated with national identity, and Catholicism and Orthodoxy took on national forms (Islam too), and beliefs began to become more complicated, becoming clerical, not human. Everything that people did not understand became the essence of faith, and the "old" belief became insufficient belief. And as new technologies spread information, today that "old, folk" belief has been completely pushed out by "Christianity" or American versions of belief. Christianity is not just a book, but a society, a territory, a people, political events. This is what Christianity looks like. It is not a uniform faith. Theory is one thing, reality is another. If I think that you, Rabbi, should accept Christianity, which version should I offer you? You are good to me just the way you are.
The Trial and Crucifixion of Jesus was a brilliant legal tactical maneuver that tricked the Sanhedrin into naming Jesus as king of the Jews and Pilate published this fact at a crossroads and time when Jews from all over the realm were making pilgrimage. What this accomplished was to make Jesus' New Covenant Gospel legally encumbered upon the nation of Israel to uphold according to Torah law.
Isn’t it obvious that the vanishing of the anointed one in Dan 9:26 is time stamped in the middle of the 69th week? You have seven weeks until Cyrus sends the Jewish nation back to Jerusalem. And then you have the building of the 2nd Temple, which from the time they lay the foundation and set up the altar till it’s destruction in 70 by Titus is 62 (prophetic) weeks.. Add the seven weeks between the exile and Cyrus (mentioned in 9:25) AND the 62 weeks of the Temple being rebuilt, and you have 69 weeks. Add the three and a half years mentioned in 9:27 and that puts us at 69 and a half weeks. Ergo, between 66 and 67 ce.. conclusion: it is impossible to be Jesus.
To counter this interpretation, several approaches can be considered: Non-Literal Interpretation of the 70 Weeks: Many scholars understand the "weeks" in Daniel 9 not as literal years but as prophetic or symbolic periods. A "week" could represent a "set of seven" or a symbolic time frame, making the precise dating less rigid. Under this approach, there’s more flexibility for applying these periods to Jesus' life and death, even if they don't line up exactly with historical events. The "Cutting Off" Could be Before 70 CE: Some argue that the "cutting off" of the anointed one could refer to Jesus' death in the middle of the 70th week, which would place it around 30-33 CE, not in the years 66-67 CE. The "three and a half years" mentioned in 9:27 could be seen as a reference to the ministry of Jesus, which lasted around that long, and his crucifixion could be understood as occurring in the middle of the prophetic timeline. Disagreement on the Starting Point: The interpretation that links the "seven weeks" to the decree of Cyrus and the rebuilding of the Second Temple could be debated. Some interpreters believe that the "starting point" for the 70 weeks begins with a different decree, such as that of Artaxerxes in 457 BCE (the decree for Ezra to return), which would shift the timeline and allow for Jesus' death to occur before 70 CE. Theological Significance: Christian interpreters often focus on the theological significance of the "cutting off" of the anointed one. They emphasize that the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy is not merely about a precise historical event but also about the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection, which would fit within the framework of Daniel's vision.
It’s a manifestation of the relationship between Hashem and mankind. We (mankind) are the she. That’s the understanding that helped me. The written Torah is masculine. The Oral Torah is feminine. The psalms are masculine. Proverbs are it’s feminine counterpart.. like a feminine personification of the shekinah. Israel (the general people and landscape) is masculine. When scripture speaks specifically of Jerusalem it is always spoken of in the feminine, as if Jerusalem is the private parts of this relationship, and the Temple Mount is the intimate meeting place between G-d and Israel.. also, G-d is judge of all the earth, and it’s not the role of a woman to be a judge in a Jewish court (modesty, Nidah, marital issues, etc). These are some things that you can mull over. It helped me recognize the polarity. And how the manifestation of our relationship with G-d works. And why G-d is generally referred to in the masculine.
For the speech about the 'crucifixion'' is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is God's power. For it is written, "I will make the wisdom of the wise perish and the intelligence of the intellectual I will shove aside". Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not get to know God, *God saw good through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing.* (1st Corinthians 1:18-21)
who is speaking in this and r qoutation?😂 God almighty? do you know why new testament always use the word for those who believe? bcoz in Jewish bible there's no exception.... when God almighty speaks,.. he speaks to everyone but when the followers of jesus in new testament speaks they said for those wbo believe... bcoz they know what they're saying was self opinion, assumptions, not what God said.
This is the first time I have come across your content, youtube randomly suggested it. Firstly I'm sorry for your personal loss, secondly im ethnically Jewish but religiously Christian and I think you are misrepresenting Christology and Christian Theology (not out of malice or ignorance, we are all constantly learning about our faiths and others). The Laws of Moses had greater value than to be a reflection but from Sin entering the world a price had to be paid. Christ's sacrifice on the cross perfectly balances justice and mercy, as He pays the penalty for sin so that God's justice is satisfied, while His mercy allows sinners to be forgiven through faith. The estern religions based on Karma are only Justice, you get exactly what you deserve while Islam based on Mercy (if you do the works). The Justice of Karma is at the expense of Mercy and Islams mercy is at the cost of Justice. God is loving and God is Mercy and Just; so it had to happen like this on the Cross otherwise God wouldnt be all these things the scripture say he is. Most non Christians dont know that when Christ takes the punishment we deserve on the Cross he bears the full wrath of God, not just the physical cruficition; so Gods law is fufilled so we get what we dont deserve in Gods mercy. God is a Holy God and he law is Holy. Forgiveness by its nature comes at a cost and someone has to pay it, so God did. If a friends mother stops you from walking into oncoming traffic they have stoped you from getting hit but they havent saved your soul, in the same way if we say our thoughts and prayers are with someone, thats a form of intercession; so asking others to pray for us or praying for others surely isnt idolatry. Saying that every church is preaching something is like saying every synagogue teaches the same things, while their is a core teaching doctrines are different between groups and heresy exists in all religions. The claim that "Christianity completely created an interference between man and God" misunderstands both the nature of the Messiah and the relationship He facilitates. In Isaiah 53, the suffering servant is described as the one who bears humanity’s sins and makes intercession for transgressors (v. 12). This isn’t someone blocking access to God-it’s someone actively restoring it by dealing with the sin that separates us from Him. Far from being an obstacle, the Messiah is depicted as the bridge that enables reconciliation. Additionally, in Genesis 1:26, God says, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." The plural language here suggests a complexity within God’s nature, aligning with Trinitarian belief. While some Jews argue this is God speaking to angels, this interpretation falters because humans are made in God's image, not angels' (Genesis 1:27). The "us" points to a plurality within the divine being, which is consistent with the Christian understanding of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit working together in creation. Jewish traditions also acknowledge a hierarchy of heavenly powers, such as the “Angel of the Lord” who speaks and acts as God in the Torah. For example, in Exodus 3, the Angel of the Lord appears to Moses in the burning bush, but Moses is told he’s standing on holy ground, and the Angel identifies as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This Angel isn’t a separate being but a manifestation of God Himself, prefiguring the way Christ reveals God to humanity. Far from blocking access, these appearances show God personally engaging with His creation through mediators within His own divine essence. In light of this, Jesus, as the Messiah, fulfills Isaiah’s prophecies and the theological groundwork of the Hebrew Scriptures. He doesn’t "get in the way" but instead embodies God's promise to draw humanity closer to Himself, restoring the relationship broken by sin. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to see more of your content going forward. God bless.
Jewdaism is broken too! Jer 32:33-34 WEB 33 They have turned their backs to me, and not their faces. Although I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction. 34 But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
I'd like to see that myself. He hasn't changed my heart. Jesus is Lord.
rabbi could clarify more about the Messiah of Judaism and the Christian Messiah... I'll say right away that I love and appreciate Judaism as an ancient and one of the most well-founded Religions and in case the comparison of the Christian Messiah is made, just delete the letters of Paul, because according to some and I begin to think the same, he is the first false apostle of Christianity, use only the books of Matthew, Marks, Luke (the synoptic gospels) + Epistle to the Hebrews, Epistle of James, II Peter , II John, III John, Epistle of Jude and the Apocalypse...
No. You cannot HONESTLY just use the synoptic gospels because they are chock full of contradictions and inconsistencies with the Hebrew Bible. Hebrew Bible says no one can atone for another person's sins. New Testament says Jesus did. Hebrew Bible says Satan works for God; New Testament says he does not. Hebrew Bible says the End Times Messiah must be a patrilineal descendant of King David and King Solomon. New Testament says Jesus is the End Times Messiah even though his genealogies in Matthew and Luke show that he was neither. Etc., etc. , etc.
I know you say that he can forgive sins if you repent but what about King David? when he prayed and fasted but God still did not give grace to heal his child?
He was forgiven, but read 2 Sam 12:14 “however, since you spurned the enemies of the Lord by this deed, the child about to be born to you shall die.” In other words, it turned into a scandal, and if something punitive did not come from this, it would cause the enemies of G-d to desecrate His name.. and would likely slander David as well.
Yeshua taught his followers to pray directly to God the Father. Typically Christian pray to the Father and end with 'in the name of Jesus -Amen'. Jesus himself taught that no one comes to the Father except thru me John 14:6, so even without Paul's take on Christian theology we would still have a concept of Jesus as mediator of sorts. Yeshua also established the 'new covenant' in his blood for forgiveness of sins ref Luke 22:20 Matthew 26:28 for example. Paul was basically echoing Christian theology already established by Jewish Messiah Jesus and his disciples. Since Christians consider the Messiah as 'mighty God and everlasting Father', Jesus as the way to God is not the same as having lesser being in between us and God.
Tovia Singer, there is nothing Biblical about Rabbinical Judaism. Biblical faith of the Tanakh perished in A.D. 70. Rabbinical Judaism bears no resemblance to the Biblical faith found in the Tanakh. The Jews had to completely overhaul their religion from the foundation up. Remember Deuteronomy 28-30 and Leviticus 26. No you don't. Olam Ha-Zeh ended and Olam Ha-Ba began in A.D. 70. All that remains now is cognitive dissonance with the creation of the non-Biblical Rabbinical Judaism religion. You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2
How is an open gate a barrier? Should there not be barriers of protection? Word of God in the flesh is the only way to God is by his word. Did God not reveal himself to Abraham and Jacob in physical body? To wrestle I would say so. The Word of God is in superior position. 8:08
I have mixed emotions about a mediator creating an idolatrous equation. The addition of Mary, saints, and angels is clearly idolatry, but the jury is out if Yeshua creates an automatic idolatry. To be fair, almost 100% of all non-Catholic denominations (with a few rare exceptions) consider the Catholic practices idolatrous and one of the many reasons for the reformation. Consider a few examples of human intermediaries. The Israelites didn’t want to hear H’s voice anymore because they thought they would die. They told Moshe to go hear the holy words and report back. The citizens would bring the daily offerings and the priests would do the sacrifice. The high priest would do the Yom Kippur rituals for the entire nation (again, a man standing between Israel and H’). (This next one is a little different), Joseph was considered as Pharaoh (the sun god in the flesh). Joseph was an intermediary between the nations and Pharaoh. Solomon prayed in front of the whole nation. These are just a few examples of intermediary relationships. There are several other examples of a single person standing between Israel and H’, so I think your claim needs a few more premises to support your conclusion.
@ You also need more premises to support your claim. Paul said there is one mediator between God and man, the MAN Jesus Christ. Stephen and Peter also called him a man, not God. It wasn’t universally believed that Jesus was God for nearly 290 years when it was debated and made the official doctrine at the council of Nicea. The reason it was debated was because not everyone believed and this should give everyone pause. If it was only a small minority believing he wasn’t God, it would not have been debated. Why debate what no one believes? How does God grow in wisdom and stature? Why do the synoptic gospels have an adoption theology at his baptism and John presents him the Eternal Holy Creator? There are verses that suggest some believed he was God and some verses that seem to point to an unprecedented portion of the Holy Spirit. Pharaoh said of Joseph “can we find any man with the spirit of God such as this?” Despite Joseph’s greatness and being filled with the Holy Spirit, it isn’t good hermeneutical practice to say Joseph was the fullness of God in the flesh because he had the Holy Spirit.
@ Jesus is much man as He is God. Jesus when He came to earth started out as a baby. All babies have to grow. By 12 years old He was beginning to speak in the synagogue. Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity. It doesn’t use the word trinity But, it speaks separately of God the Father, Jesus as God and the Holy Spirit.
@@julienielsen3746 also, one more thing….. saying babies grow is a redefining argument for him being God. You are highlighting normal human activity and ascribing it to God. For him to be fully God, he needs to be more than just a brilliant prodigy. There are world class pianists who are five years old and I would not look at them and think they created the universe. Instead, I would think the universe was created for them.
The new testament is a totally different covenant than the old testament. The old testament uses the levitic priesthood for its rules and is for earthly living conditions. The new testament uses the higher melchelzedek priesthood for its rules and is for heavenly living conditions. If you don' realize there are 2 kingdoms one heavenly and the other earthly and 2 priesthoods one levitic and the other melchelzedek then you won't realize there is an earthly moshiac/david and a heavenly moshiac Jesus. The difference being david is bound by the levitic priesthood which means he can only be king and not high priest. Jesus on the other hand uses the melchelzedek priesthood making it possible for him to be both King and High Priest in his heavenly kingdom.
Yes you are telling the truth. The belief is that sin separates us from God (and we are born sinners) and Yeshua is the atoning sacrifice for mankind’s sins bridging the gap between mankind and God. The person needs to accept this free gift and can now have a personal relationship with God through Yeshua. I don’t believe this anymore but this is the belief.
Well that is wrong. The Renewed Covenant never said that “every Christian”. Christianity did not exist till 321 AD. Sadly the Jews don’t understand the christian’s point on receiving His Spirit. This actually is NOT from Christianity but has always been for the children of Yisrael. Yahuah says in the Tanakh the same thing, that… Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh, Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them. That is the personal relationship! Yahuah in you. This is what Yahuah always wanted for His people Yisrael. This is what is was pre-fall. Yahuah walked with Adam and Chawwa in the garden. Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of יהוה Elohim walking about in the garden in the cool of the day, and Aḏam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim among the trees of the garden. So this is what the personal relationship with the Father and Yahusha means. If we love and obey Him, WE WILL RECEIVE HIS SPIRIT IN US: Joh 14:23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. That is the Gospel message, and the message from the beginning of Scripture. Love and Obey Him, walk in His Paths and you shall be saved. Thus NO interference but fulfilment! Tovia explains that as you ask for forgiveness and repent from your sins, HASHEM will forgive you? Just there He breaks the 3rd command, bringing the Father’s Name to naught! So how exactly does the understanding for forgiveness of sins work in Judaism? I guess the same as it does for christianity, because they repent for their sins, yet call Him by pagan names, done away with the Sabbath etc etc…. Are they really forgiven? Persisting in the wilful sins? The Jew and Christian both have the knowledge of the truth, Bible/Torah. See what Yahuah has to say about the above issue... Heb 10:26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins,(Numb 15) Heb 10:27 but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents. Heb 10:28 Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses. The Torah of Mosheh, clearly states NOT bringing His Sacred Name to naught, which both Jew and Christian wilfully disobey. HalleluYAH!!!
im amuslim and lived my entire life based on tawheed and anti idolatry. Moh def copied tawheed from the jews. He tailored his entire religion to convert jews. There are still tremendous fallacies in both religions.
God challenges anyone who thinks the Quran was written by humans to produce just a single verse like it..even chat GPT can't. The mathematical formula, the poetry and proes are nothing but miraculous..take time to study it and it will certainly bolster your iman if you're indeed a Muslim. If you're non Muslim on the hand, then enjoy the miracle of the only book of its kind that allows 20% of Muslims to cram it back to back like no other book has ever been crammed..go ahead and prove me wrong
Do you believe the Will of God is the same as the Will of Jesus? If Jesus and the Father are one and the same, is there a difference in the Will? Why the Revelation and not just fulfill the Will? Can there be a New World without a leader? If you stole a piece of bubblegum when you were 12, do you believe the Old Testament God would forgive you… without Jesus? He’d forgive you eventually, don’t you think?
Rabbi. What we belive God is, is love, mercy and JUST. You can't have a good God with kit the punishment of sin. Even the Torah animal sacrifice where required for sins to be forgiven. Rabbi please explain where are the priest in Judaism that admister the sacrifices?Even Abraham sacrificed but you don't.
While I enjoy listening to your view Rabbi, is it fair to say, not many people read Scriptures and thus only listen to what they are told? As I continue to explore and learn, most scholars of the Bibles have said,NT in this case, that they don't attribute many of the sayings of Jesus as you know, they were put on his lips. But many sayings, they believe are his words. Like Mark 12: 29-30,responding to the greatest commandment, "“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Nowhere does Jesus venerate Mary, like the Catholic church does, I concur. Dr Paula Frederiksen, a well accomplished scholar, says, Theology cannot exist without philosophy. I believe that is a fair assessment.
The Schottenstein Talmud Sanhedrin 3a (Folios 84b-99a) (Brooklyn: Artscroll Mesorah, 1995), 98a (Ibid., p. 240) states “I will yet do a third thing, and that is, that ‘they shall look unto me,’ for they shall lift up their eyes unto me in perfect repentance, when they see him whom they pierced, that is, Messiah, the son of Joseph; for our Rabbis, of blessed memory, have said that he will take upon himself all the guilt of Israel, and shall then be slain in the war to make atonement in such manner that it shall be accounted as if Israel had pierced him, for on account of their sin he has died; and, therefore, in order that it may be reckoned to them as a perfect atonement, they will repent and look to the blessed One, saying that there is none beside him to forgive those that mourn on account of him who died for their sins: this is the meaning ‘They shall look upon me.’ The Schottenstein Talmud published by the Artscroll-Mesorah commentary states “They [namely, those sitting with Messiah] were afflicted with tzaraas-a disease whose symptoms include discolored patches on the skin (see Leviticus ch. 13). The Messiah himself is likewise afflicted, as stated in Isaiah (53:4):… Indeed, it was our diseases that he bore and our pains that he endured, whereas we considered him plagued (i.e. suffering tzaraas [see 98b, note 39]), smitten by God, and afflicted. This verse teaches that the diseases that the people ought to have suffered because of their sins are borne by the Messiah.10” (Ibid, pp. 142-143 "take upon himself all the guilt of Israel, and shall then be slain in the war to make atonement in such manner that it shall be accounted as if Israel had pierced him"
I think if anything, Rabbi Singer *underplays* how distant God is from us in the worldview of the early Christians, who developed their ekklesia based on the belief in Christ as their heavenly mediator. However, this was very common in nearly all Greco-Roman religions and not just Christianity. It's the old dichotomy between transcendence (God is outside the universe) and imminence (God is everywhere).
“Abraham was a friend of god” - which god. El the Canaanite high god? Was 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 peeking out of Arabia at that time. This is the first unambiguous scriptural record of YHWH. Kuntillet Ajrud Inscription “Blessing to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 of Samaria and his Asherah , Blessing to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 of Tenma (the road to Yemen) and his Asherah”. In fact we can surmised based upon the text of the Hebrew Bible itself there were many versions of YHWH at the time. Not only these two, but there was a different practice at Luz (what the Yahwist call Bethel) and in Edom (Qos, where this inscription was written). This dates from 775 to 825 BCE. The Meshe Stele dates to 840 BCE. Though it does not mention YHWH directly it mentions the ritual cups of Yahweh. “and I killed in all seven thousand men...women and maidens, for I devoted them to Ashtar-Chemosh; and I took from it the vessels of Jehovah, and offered them before Chemosh.” The are a number of items mentioning YHWH in the 8th century, 1 item in the ninth century and none before. “Daniel ….” Was a fictional character drawn into scriptural form starting in 164 BCE. “It is generally accepted that Daniel originated as a collection of Aramaic court tales later expanded by the Hebrew revelations. The court tales may have originally circulated independently, but the edited collection was probably composed in the third or early second-century BC. Chapter 1 was composed (in Aramaic) at this time as a brief introduction to provide historical context, introduce the characters of the tales, and explain how Daniel and his friends came to Babylon. The visions of chapters 7-12 were added and chapter 1 translated into Hebrew at the third stage when the final book was being drawn together; this final stage, marking the composition of Daniel as a book, took place between the desecration of the Temple by Antiochus Epiphanies in 167 and his death in 164 BC.” - wikipedia Collins, John J. All that the Rabbi is basically saying is that he’s not a Christian. As far as the „barrier“ bit is concerned. The Messiah is the gateway to the Almighty rather than a barrier. ❤
Amen. He hasn't changed my heart. I figured if I'm going to pray for the salvation of the Rabbi, and the others commenting here, I better know the truth. Jesus is Lord.
But prior to Jesus there was no middleman or barrier. Everyone spoke straight to God. With your definition of the messiah, you distance everyone from God
Tovia does not understand Christian theology on forgiveness he has a strawman understanding. Seriously this video is silly. I know he is trusted but this is an absolute mess / exposure of a lack of basic knowledge. He seems to present knowledge but he doesn't

It is very true that God is perfect and we humans are imperfect. We are always inclined to sin and no man is perfect enough to pay the price of sin. So perfect God came down in human nature to save us as the Saviour of humanity. Those who put trust in Him will be saved.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but thru Him. Repent - change your mind - and believe on the Lord Jesus for the remission of your sins and the promise of Eternal Life. And this promise is for both Jew and Greek, slave and free, and started with the first gentile believer, Abram, who was called out of UR of the Chaldeans, who later became Abraham and the promise thru Jacob who would be called Israel. Jesus is coming quickly and will not delay, and He will scrub the earth with Holy Fire. I pray you believe on Him now while there is still time. Blessings and Peace in the Name of Yeshua Mashiach, our Great God and Savior forever!!!

Are you both aware that JC was pushed away by his Rabbeim because he left Egypt with black magic and sorcery tattooed to his arms? He engaged in black magic, which allowed him to do the “miracles” that were seemingly un-human. Other rabbis were able to do this as well, but did NOT because the Torah FORBIDS it. Therefore, JC was able to win the hearts of many by doing evil things, hence, why the idea of him strangles its followers. There are many stories of JC “coming” to people, no different than a fever dream or hallucination.
Any Gentile who accepts the Seven Noahide Commandments, and is careful to observe them, is truly a pious individual of the nations of the world, and merits an eternal portion in the future World to Come. (And with this merit, the person will be included in the Resurrection of the Dead).
I am a direct descendant of Rahab, the mother of Boaz, who married Ruth. If there is a bridge to God for the gentiles, it is Ruth. Jesus is still a Jew. He's also walking among us today teaching the physics of godhood. I was raised as a Christian but found the theology absurd. Who would worship a God that sends your loved ones to hell because they are not "saved." I've actually started my own religion. Albert Einstein called it Cosmic Religion. My Trinity is Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.
Believe This, the Lord thy God is your redeemer. 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. 26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. 27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. 28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches. He was wounded for are transgression ,bruised for are iniquities, the chastisement of are peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed.
Jesus sinned. His favorite sin of teaching contrary to the Torah disqualified Jesus as the messiah. The correct translation of the verse you paraphrased is as follows: "But he was pained because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his wound we were healed." The "he/him/his" refers to the righteous Jewish people who have received and continue to receive so much pain and suffering for being the light unto the nations. Repent of your sins directly to G'd and obey the seven Laws, given to all humanity in Genesis.

Don't ask God to "show" you the truth about "anyone". "Showing is not sure. Rather ask him to "guide" you to the truth, just the truth without mentioning a specific person/name. If you keep asking this, you will be guided soon or later.
“116. And ˹on Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen. 117. I never told them anything except what You ordered me to say: “Worship Allah-my Lord and your Lord!” And I was witness over them as long as I remained among them. But when You took me, You were the Witness over them-and You are a Witness over all things. 118. If You punish them, they belong to You after all. But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All- Wise.” 119. Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.”” Quran 5
Rabbi, I agree that in some groups like the Catholic Church, Eastern orthodox etc. there is definitely idolatry mixed in with their teachings of Jesus. It is wrong of them to beguile people into this kind of practice. But Israel, in its past, as you know, also committed idolatry, and there probably are still some Jews who are involved in idolatry, and homosexual practices, which the the God of Israel calls an abomination. All that being said, it doesn’t negate who Yeshua of Nazareth is. There are always going to be people who do some very weird and crazy things. Unfortunately, it is the nature of humanity. But none of that changes what the SON of God did for humanity. I suppose that when the third temple is erected, there in Jerusalem, and Jews return to the daily sacrifices of slaughtering animals, not for the purpose of food, but for ritual sacrifice, you will not be fighting against the practice, or will you? Please give us clarification where you stand on this, that is, ritual sacrifice in the future third Temple there in Jerusalem.
💎 The Torah mediates our relationship w Hashem… ⚠️**IF** Yeshua is The Incarnate Torah: then then your logic checks true: alongside Paul’s writing… ⚠️ This is **IF** Yeshua is The Incarnate Torah from Bereshit (per John 1)
Corruption to pray to clay and wood...YesHuah is Adam reborn, who died for his own sin, and what was that? Adam was perfect, one with the creator, through the spirit of God the Shekinah...Adam destroyed that connection, he killed it, the dwelling of the Shekinah, not in a temple, not in a cloud, within the body..Yes, as Jonah God gave Adam a second chance, YesHuah became Adam on the cross, died for his sin, and the spirit returned to the body and raised him from the dead...Some Christian religions do not worship any idol, other than God..Yes, nothing should come between the creator and the created, but the spirit is what connects the divine spark to God.I am sorry to hear of your loss...Angels of heaven, receive his soul and present it to God the most high, Amen.
There's always a matter of misunderstanding scripture when people perceive the characters to be real when they are simply representations of states of consciousness that the soul steps into. We're all playing the parts of this magnificent play and Christ is simply the culmination of this play and ones return to oneness or non separation. Christ is not a man but an internal process of redemption where one is essentially "de-conditioned" alchemically to become one with creation or the void state. One has returned home. Through this "de-conditioning" one will know the deeper meanings of scripture pertaining to consciousness and not events that occurred in space and time. One big psychological drama where imagination became man so that man can become imagination. The dispersed and the gathered all occur in consciousness, the higher mind frees you from your imprisonment or conditioned structures, Christ "in you" expels the merchants and money changers from the temple (ones corrupted, separated mind, and the temple is you). You and you alone created this play, never were you kicked out of eden or paradise and never did you sin but it was you alone who chose to step into this creation, create an emanation (eve) and eat of the fruit of duality.

the other lampstand observed was the Tetragrammaton Pentagram. this was strange as again it stood alone, but with a monk sat meditating in front of it. I get the impression that each lamp has a custodian, which to come to this plane to teach.
Isaiah 53:6 King James Version 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
great story about the remnant of Jews who were taken down to the grave of Babylon, and who were shamed and mocked for doing so, even though they were doing it for the salvation of the nation, bearing the nation's sins upon themselves. and then God restored them from their captivity and brought them up from the grave of Babylon and put them in the land of the living (Israel).
💖thank you rabbi Tovia Singer. i am a formerly catholic and converted into born again christian because we see the church misleading us. allow me to share you my testimony. when my first meet GOD my LORD in the book of Jeremiah 33:3. then followed in the book of John i read all. i cried and cried because i feel the presence of GOD the Lord is working as i read His word. and i believed and received healing instantly through faith. as He said in verse 6 of Jeremiah 33. since then GOD is working on me powerfully. He is a great physician cause i suffered infections in my 2 breast for almost 8 yrs. this is my first experience i received miracle from GOD the Lord. HalleluYAH!!! Thanks GOD. 🙏🕊 GOD blessed you🙌 Rabbi Tovia Singer🙏🕊 i ❤ and am 💖 happy with your program. because i learn more from your knowledge about the Truth.🔥🙏🙏🙏
nah, read your own bible. did you watch the vid? The quote from the book of Timothy clearly says "there is one mediator between GOD and man, Jesus" .. does not say between jew and gentile, that is jibberish you heard from someone who does not know their own christian theology or writings.
@ShemaHaTorah I don't follow indoctrinated beliefs, there are over 144,000 of them to chose from, all talking babble! Ye are all gods? The usage for this is many. When translated into Greek, it still points to the gods of this world, who have corrupted the minds of those who follow them. The high priests rejected many people who were seen as unclean, they the were still Jews, yet considered as gentiles. As a good shepherd, one would give encouragement to lift their spirit, that not all is lost. When two people are arguing, not seeing eye to eye, the one who steps in to calm things down is a mediator. Using wisdom, they walk away from each other, without using the upperhand. There is only one man (woman) who stands before God and that is yourself.... Khrīstos Iēsous Greek translation "the chosen one God saves" I don't look at the top layer, I use the roots. 🤗 When scripture speaks to you, listen to yourself speak... I am the door, no one comes to the father but by me.... who is me? The heart of the temple. 🤗
But Jesus death and resurrection did so much more for mankind. Without knowing this your arguments are understandable. But knowing the power of Christ through his death and redurrection, it becomes clear why he is the messiah. This world is full of evil, chaos and suffering. In Gen 6:1-4, the sons of God , spiritual beings, came down from heaven and bore children with daughters of men. This unholy union created Nephilim, giants who ruled over much of mankind, teaching the depravity and influencing mankind to do evil. In Deut 32:8,9, God took Jacob and His people for Himself, to guide them and lead them. He dispersed the Gentiles over the earth and placed the sons of God, spiritual beings over them. His plan was to have His people be an example to the Gentiles (Deut. 4). But Israel rebelled and so did the sons of God who were placed over the nations. What a mess. The Messiah came through the lineage of David to reconcile all people to God. He took authority over all powers and principalities and gave those who believe in Him power over them in our lives. He promised the Holy Spirit of God Himself to live in the hearts of all believers to overcome the depravity passed on to every human being. He also promised eternal life to those who believe. Without Christ there is no hope for this world. It is doomed to destroy itself. But Christ is the savior of the world, who planted His Kingdom and is increasing it day by day. When He returns, this Kingdom will be handed over to the Father, and the world will be reset as before the fall in the Garden.
@@AlexanderEalley Jesus went into hell for three days and nights, and defeated the devil and spiritual death for those who have received Him. Jesus gave us authority over satan, and we are free from spiritual death. We have eternity in Heaven with Him.
@ and where in your bible does it say Jesus went to hell and defeated the Satan??? You’re just making stuff up now. If the Satan was defeated then the evil inclination in this world would not exist.
Got my Torah vitamin for the day. Thank you. May your father’s memory be for a blessing.
You got heretical diversion for the day you mean ?
There is something really special about being presented a good meal, a meal that is so nutritious and fulfilling and delicious, there is nothing quite like a meal from Ha’Shem.
Thank you rabbi Tovia Singer for serving such a meal every time you make a video. It keeps us coming back and quenches our thirst, and gives us an appetite for knowledge, and a yearning to please Ha’Shem.
And all glory and praise belongs to Ha’Shem.
Sorry for your loss Tovia
I would be very interested in reading this book. What is the name of the book?
@@ShemaHaTorah he interfered with it for the better 😁 however He is God so yeah 🙏
Sorry for your loss Rabbi. My wife lost her Mom recently and it’s been tough-I feel for you-be well.
Dear Rab the pain will recede and your Tate's light will shine brighter to give you more strength and joy. It was a great blessing to have him in your life until recently and you certainly were also a blessing for him. I share your feelings. You will be ok soon. Hibuk. Bracha Beatzlacha. Am Israel Chai
Amen! Thank you.
I hate that I can’t leave comments when I’m watching this on television so I have to go on my iPhone so I can leave a message. Thank you so much for everything you bring to us.
Another great truth!Bless you, Rabbi Tovia Singer.
My condolences regarding the passing of your beloved father .
Baruch Hashem!
Am Ysrael chai ❤

Thank you again rabbi singer, be blessed ❤
Thank you Rabbi for another enlightenement. May Hashem bless you always with wisdom so that you can continue to light the nations.
Love your channel and teaching .
HASHEM SHOULD BLESS YOU!!! Much love from Tzfat, Rabbi Singer.
Another good video! Shalom Rabbi! I’m striving for a personal relationship with Hashem!
Me to 😊
I love what the caller said…. “Covenant = agreement.” Perfectly said!
I just recently immersed in a creek. (It was freezing 🥶 😂), when I went into the water, I told the Father that “I wanted to walk in His Way.”
Rabbi, I did some horrible things.
LOL
I love Rabbi Feld and OvadYah.
Tank you Rabbi
We love you Rabbi
We were taught that the testator of the old “Will/Testament” had to die for the “New Testament” to come in affect. Thinking about that now God didn’t die so his Torah didn’t pass away. Thank you so much for your teachings! My eyes and my husbands have been opened. We are now studying Hebrew and yes we both found an ancestor that was Jewish in our family tree. Amazing!
God doesn't change but the seasons do. and God's Spirit can move, which is a change in position
This is why the same level of forgiveness is required it's like saying that you will just forgive an "alcoholic"
Instead we need something that will make us stop in our tracks.
Thank you Rabbi. May HaShem give every jew opportunity and wisdom to see your lectures🦋🕎
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I know the feeling.
Thank you, Rabbi.
Thank you. You nailed it again Rabbi Singer🎉
As a former Christian it seems that what was missing in my church education was a complete understanding of the “Old Testament including the Talmud and other sacred knowledge writings.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Tank you Rabbi for everything you say, ❤
I would say that your characterisation of Christianity is the most widely held in the catholic and protestant world - but in fact it was created by later church fathers. It is called "penal substitutionary atonement". In the eastern church, unless i am mistaken, Romans is not interpreted in this way.
But you're right that this is how it is in the west, for the most part (episcopalians and Quakers are less likely to hold this view)
Leviticus 16 speaks of the atonement and the scapegoat . Jesus is the atonement and I’m the scapegoat.
Beautiful!
@ that’s idolatry. “After the cross”? Huh?
A world where the creator needs to send prophets to begin is broken
What's left out and avoided in this video is that God created a sistemas where priests had to sacrifice animals in a temple for the forgivness of sins. It was the priest Who was a human mediador. He is conveniently left this out.
Israelitas got to good through the priests, nowhere is there indicates a direct link to good by the average person. Is always the propietario and they the high priests.

I’m Catholic but draw the line at confessing to a priest , too personal, I haven’t been to confession since third grade

To counter this interpretation, several approaches can be considered:
Non-Literal Interpretation of the 70 Weeks: Many scholars understand the "weeks" in Daniel 9 not as literal years but as prophetic or symbolic periods.
If jesus died for our sins why is there still sin.
Moses was a mediator. All the prophets were mediators.

Rabbi Tovia Singer Let's get Biblical
All praise to Hashem our Heavenly father Almighty
Torah Hashem Israel
@marcokite idolatry is inappropriate
Why is it when referring to Gd is mostly referred to as masculine, but also, there is a feminine aspect
Hashem is neither he or she, it's being used to help us to relate. Hashem "IS"
God is both.
What is the teaching on death and life after death or a type of resurrection of the Hebrew bible?
"Abraham my friend"... to love unconditionally, even if he did make a few mistakes along the way. 😊
Paul strikes me as an... interesting fellow.
Can I get a list of those times GOD forgives? No New Testament please. Thanks in advance.
I'd like to see that myself. He hasn't changed my heart. Jesus is Lord.
Have you never heard of the story of Moses and the Israelites?
rabbi could clarify more about the Messiah of Judaism and the Christian Messiah...
Since Christians consider the Messiah as 'mighty God and everlasting Father', Jesus as the way to God is not the same as having lesser being in between us and God.
whats your position on the theory that the Pashtuns of Afghanistan are a lost tribe of Israel??
This seems very credible
tovia's obsession with canceling Jesus' teaching is relentless. Eliot Ness comes to mind ! Really, who is the racketeer?
Jesus is God. That is not idolatry.
Yahuah says in the Tanakh the same thing, that…
Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,
Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you.
If we love and obey Him, WE WILL RECEIVE HIS SPIRIT IN US:
Joh 14:23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word.
Heb 10:26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins,(Numb 15)
Heb 10:27 but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents.
Heb 10:28 Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses.
The Torah of Mosheh, clearly states NOT bringing His Sacred Name to naught, which both Jew and Christian wilfully disobey.
HalleluYAH!!!
thank you rabbi

im amuslim and lived my entire life based on tawheed and anti idolatry.
The New Testament is also God's Word. Written by men of God who listened to God speak to them in their hearts/spirits ,and wrote what God told them.

Why does messiah ben Joseph die?
The Schottenstein Talmud Sanhedrin 3a (Folios 84b-99a) (Brooklyn: Artscroll Mesorah, 1995), 98a (Ibid., p. 240) states
“I will yet do a third thing, and that is, that ‘they shall look unto me,’ for they shall lift up their eyes unto me in perfect repentance, when they see him whom they pierced, that is, Messiah, the son of Joseph; for our Rabbis, of blessed memory, have said that he will take upon himself all the guilt of Israel, and shall then be slain in the war to make atonement in such manner that it shall be accounted as if Israel had pierced him, for on account of their sin he has died; and, therefore, in order that it may be reckoned to them as a perfect atonement, they will repent and look to the blessed One, saying that there is none beside him to forgive those that mourn on account of him who died for their sins: this is the meaning ‘They shall look upon me.’
The Schottenstein Talmud published by the Artscroll-Mesorah commentary states “They [namely, those sitting with Messiah] were afflicted with tzaraas-a disease whose symptoms include discolored patches on the skin (see Leviticus ch. 142-143
"take upon himself all the guilt of Israel, and shall then be slain in the war to make atonement in such manner that it shall be accounted as if Israel had pierced him"
I think if anything, Rabbi Singer *underplays* how distant God is from us in the worldview of the early Christians, who developed their ekklesia based on the belief in Christ as their heavenly mediator.
“and I killed in all seven thousand men...women and maidens, for I devoted them to Ashtar-Chemosh; and I took from it the vessels of Jehovah, and offered them before Chemosh.”
The are a number of items mentioning YHWH in the 8th century, 1 item in the ninth century and none before.
The visions of chapters 7-12 were added and chapter 1 translated into Hebrew at the third stage when the final book was being drawn together; this final stage, marking the composition of Daniel as a book, took place between the desecration of the Temple by Antiochus Epiphanies in 167 and his death in 164 BC.” - wikipedia

All that the Rabbi is basically saying is that he’s not a Christian. As far as the „barrier“ bit is concerned. The Messiah is the gateway to the Almighty rather than a barrier. ❤
Amen.
@ God's Chosen People spoke straight to God. All people can come to God through Jesus The Anointed One.
Was the blood sacrifice on the day of atonement for atonement and removal of sin optional and for unintentional sins for the entire State of Israel?
Tovia does not understand Christian theology on forgiveness he has a strawman understanding.
Seriously this video is silly.
I know he is trusted but this is an absolute mess / exposure of a lack of basic knowledge.
He seems to present knowledge but he doesn't

Mediator is the name given to Mithras. Paul is so clearly a Mithran.
It is very true that God is perfect and we humans are imperfect. We are always inclined to sin and no man is perfect enough to pay the price of sin. So perfect God came down in human nature to save us as the Saviour of humanity. Those who put trust in Him will be saved.
Bingo! In case anyone doubts me, here is a Christian admitting that this is a mainstream Christology.
We pray to the God of Israel to open your eyes and guide you to worship Him alone.

But man is lost, we are born to die, we were not lost in the garden of Eden, but post Eden we are doomed to die.
Any Gentile who accepts the Seven Noahide Commandments, and is careful to observe them, is truly a pious individual of the nations of the world, and merits an eternal portion in the future World to Come. (And with this merit, the person will be included in the Resurrection of the Dead).
No, Jesus did not interferes with God. Jesus was fully man and God. Jesus was a mediator between God and humans.
If you’re a parent do you need a mediator between you and your own children?
Indeed, this shows that the NT is not from Jesus, I mean the written following the 4 Gospels.

I challenge you Rabbi, and all those who come across my comment, to pray and ask God to show them the truth about Jesus. Be open to the Truth of God.
But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All- Wise.”
119. Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.””

Torah forbids human sacrifice.

You are mistaken. Real people, real events. You can't possibly spiritualize everything! The Tanach is real history.

great story about the remnant of Jews who were taken down to the grave of Babylon, and who were shamed and mocked for doing so, even though they were doing it for the salvation of the nation, bearing the nation's sins upon themselves. and then God restored them from their captivity and brought them up from the grave of Babylon and put them in the land of the living (Israel).

Look up the meaning of "Mediator" Yeshua was a mediator between the Jews and the gentiles, and also for Israel against Rome! The gods of this world!
nah, read your own bible. did you watch the vid?
Khrīstos Iēsous Greek translation "the chosen one God saves"
I don't look at the top layer, I use the roots. 🤗
When scripture speaks to you, listen to yourself speak... I am the door, no one comes to the father but by me.... who is me? The heart of the temple. 🤗
Jesus is a mediator, but then again isn’t Abraham Moses too?
Nope. Never ever pray to Abraham or Moses ever. Only directly to G-d. Direct relationship.
No, the way to the Father was never claimed to be through Abraham or Moses.
The nt is largely fictional. Jesus was not the christ because he taught contrary to the Torah.
Jesus did not crush the serpent. The evil inclination exists today. There is still war. Every failed messiah relies on a second coming.
