    Wow I’m speechless, when I was growing up in Ohio specifically sw Ohio a 16 in smallmouth was a creek trophy. So good to see can’t wait to get back up that way, hopefully soon.

    Looks like when Paint creek it dumps into Scioto. Nevertheless awesome video, one of your best.

    The smallies were on fire brother. We had a decent river float yesterday. Lots going on, chasing bait fish and eating the fly hatch on top. Great video and beautiful PB for Darwin. Blessings B

    I grew up on that water. TONS of great fish there. If you were so inclined to bait fish. The Cats and Carp in there will blow your mind!

    Caught a Saugeye at the Pleasant Hill spillway on Saturday, looked to be about the same size, I had no idea I was even close to a fish Ohio - damn! No measure, just put it back. Dang! Lol. 20' small jaw, congrats!

      Fish Ohio saugeye is 21” I believe. The smaller cousin the Sauger is 16”. That fish Darwin caught was unreal

    Bringing my son to Nelsonville, Wednesday, to do a visit at Hocking College...any tips on the Hocking River?...got some plastic crawls and hoping for some small jaw action.

      I have many videos on the Hocking River.. these smallies love hanging around wood and large rocks near fast currents. The river is in prime condition right now too.
