As someone who talks over people constantly, my favorite person to talk with is someone who does the same. I feel like we’re jiving and it’s the easiest way for me to have a convo with a friend if they do the same. Grew up with two sisters so our only conversations are ones where we’re interrupting each other the whole time. 😂All the love, Heather!!

Luann always forgets to mention the part about her ex-husband’s family failing in their effort to build the Panama Canal - the French abandoned the project, turning it over to the USA. Her husband’s ancestor and his son were found guilty of mismanaging the project by a French court and sentenced to prison and a hefty fine. The prison sentence was later overturned on appeal, based on a technicality. It was a huge scandal and the family name was tarnished for decades in France, with many people losing their life savings investing in the failed de Lessep venture. Luann always skips that part…and the part that she’s no longer part of the family. And, yes, I know Charles de Lesseps actually did build the Suez Canal.

She can brag all she wants about the successes - but don’t misrepresent a failure as a success. She could have just not mentioned that project. She’s not “keeping it real” by misrepresenting

@@BethFed who said anything about Crohn’s? I have Crohn’s disease. My old roommate had Crohn’s disease too. She had to have most of her intestines removed. Whatever’s going on with Kate Middleton is all speculation. We just know that she had abdominal surgery. My neighbor upstairs has abdominal surgery after her third kid and she was a horrible mess for several months. Her husband had to carry her up the stairs.

Ok what. No salad for dinner? I’ve been doing it wrong for all of my adult life.
I’m from Poland and I remember reading something about the hair styles . It was 20 years ago. They said that women in her 40’s should cut her hair short and then they should get them shorter and shorter every 10 years . Wow ! I remember how wrong that sounded! I was young person, still, I couldn’t believe this propaganda against women.
I think that was because as you get older, long hair drags your face down and makes you look older. Of course many women get face lifts now so it is a moot point.

I was excited to hear Luann's take on water with meals (before, during and after) so Googled immediately. This is what the Mayo Clinic says...
"There's no concern that water thins down or weakens down (dilute) the digestive juices or interfere with digestion. In fact, drinking water during or after a meal helps how your body breaks down and processes food (digestion)."
