In the video I say the digital scale is mine, but the truth is my grandmother's, I gave her as a Christmas gift because she had only a very old mechanical scale before that. I live in Eastern Europe, so the English is not our native language, my grandmother has 73 years, she never studied English in school so she doesn't understand the English language. *For her Lo doesn't mean Low, for her the meaning Lo = horse.* She called me, she was almost crying on the phone, because she taught she broken the scale. So for the people who give thumbs down for this video a HOT NEWS: according to modern linguists there are approximately 7,000 languages and this does not include dialects! So please write in the comments, how many languages do you understand, speak or read and write. For me the English is the 3 language. Thank you for watching and have a nice day.
That is such a funny story about your grandmother - awwww! I was looking to fix the error code on my Tanita Ironman scale- but this is a food scale with different batteries :/ oh well- I speak Spanish, English and French - but why exactly does that matter?
@@surfdanceroceana6297 Because a few (native) English speakers gived me a negative comment and a lots of thumbs down, because this is not a fix and I'm a genius because I could read LO = LOW on battery. Anyway thumbs up because you speak 3 language. Thank you for watching and please share the video, maybe will be helpfull for a non (native) english speaker.

I have a scale not working, (L). Front of scale name is (Thinner) back it is labeled model ms-7. I can't figure how to open to replace a battery. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

My new kitchen digital scale is using 2 AAA batteries. It always show Lo after a day I changed the new fresh battery. All type and brand from Duracell Alkaline, ect I tried, but still have same problem. Still google how to fix that.
Probably your scale has an electronic defect, short circuit. If you have a multimeter you can measure the battery usage after the display is turning off. Remove the battery's, with a wire you connect the battery + pole to the scale and the multimeter you put to measure Amps and connect one probe to the - pole on the battery's and the other probe to the scale. After the display is turning off. on your multimeter you need the see 0 or 0.001, if you see higher, then you need to service your scale. If you don't use daily the scale, you could take out the battery's after you use the scale. Thank you for watching.
@@redigitt thank you for replying, I'm using the scale 3-5 times a day to weight my coffee and food. Bfr I tried to take off the batteries after using it and the result last for 3 days. I also checked the batteries with multimeter after the scale showed Low and actually the batteries still good (1.30 Volts). But it didn't work on the scale. Oya, when I put fresh batteries the scale show the battery signal only half when it turned on. I measured the amps with multimeter it showed 1.05. I got a bad product and the seller didn't answer my complain. I guess I have to buy another new scale with trustee 5 stars seller.
Aloha, maybe the battery is old, the lifespan for a rechargeable battery is about 2-3 years, you can try to replace it. Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was useful, please consider to share and subscribe.
if you have Lo error then you need to change the battery, Lo = LOW BATTERY. If you have a multimeter mesure the new battery, has to be over 3V, if it is below 3V then you need to replace the battery.
