My personal favourite training golem is Cairn (first boss of raid wing 4) and I judge all my solo builds against being able to down Cairn. And Specter is my go-to for fun AND flexibility. I have soloed Cairn on rifle DE, but haven't yet downed him on Specter, but it's close. If you're ever minded to try, I'd LOVE to see a video, pretty please? :)
It's a bit valigating to see that even a thief main finds herself at low health alert not infrequently. When I tried some of thief open world builds in HoT I often found myself in these situations, and more often than not couldn't recover. What I'm getting from these showcases is that I need to get used to way more kiting.
I'd have love see you fighting the champion forged cannonade that spawns at Skywatch Archipielago I've only been able to beat it with P Unleashed and C necro (any of the 3 specs)
Is power axe pistol good for strike too?? Currently i have berserker trinkets and kinda busy to farm viper trinkets. Just enjoy doing strikes atm. Thanks
Axe pistol is now deadeye strongest build for instanced pve. It existed at the time this Video Got released as well. People just hadnt figured out the rota Cause condi was so oppressiv. All this to say axe pistol bench is at 49.5k so really strong if u know what ur doing.
If you check my solos i am always specter :) so specter it is. But if you master the dagger/dagger build u are actually invincible, so is in your hands, i just prefer specter cause fits me better.

I would go: 1) daredevil staff/shortbow cause you can go easier metas while being inside group and stats are easier to make. As well is the best for simple instance content (low tier fractals+T4/dungeons/IBS5 etc). 2) specter cause specter is the class that cant lose from anything solo openworld. Has a huge personal skill curve and is used for serious content strikes/fractals CM/raids either with a celestial (or ritualist) build for alacrity either for DPS as full viper. 3) Deadeye Either pistols, Either rifle, Either axe To have fun to play having all boons and be immortal.
Every build has plus and minus, and i personally use them all when i feel one is more suitable for a situation. Best build but hardest to play and master is specter. If you get good to specter you lose form nothing in pve. Side of it comes the dagger x dagger dodge build that has a big skill cap but if you play it right is impossible to lose. Then you have the deadeye pxp that is litterally immortal and loses only from reflect. When you know that your enemy will take time to kill then the axe (either condi either power) is amazing cause of the aoe big burst. I use axe almost everyday doing events/rifts for daily or weekly cause is best analogy of time spend for a task. Rifle is the best far for killing small mobs ex. the weekly 100 awakened, oneshot everything from 1200 range and chill. But my most played are shortbow for lazy autoattack aoe in groups and run&gun daredevil for pressing 33333333 without any rotation and dodging madly. So as u see there isn't build that i think is weaker than any other, is just what mood you have to do and what skillcap you think you can reach.
@@Dizzerlusion i like the dodge that runs really fast. DE is turtle comparing to DD. DE is more damage, is more lifesteal but same time has rotation you need to steal and check the malice. Other hand DD is dodge 3333333 dodge 333333333 dodge 3333333 so the simplicity and mobility are lowest effort for a decent result.
I love thief movements so much, but the lack of damage makes it the least desired class for me to play. With olmost any class you can do double the damage with the same or more survivabilty :(. It's sad GW2 devs HATE thief so much and balance it terribly. Awsome intro though :D
Hello, I have been watching your guide videos for a long time. and I just subscribed today. All the content you share is very nice and entertaining. There's only one thing I want to ask you. Is the Rifle-Deadeye build you shared Is strong enough to easily kill solo the HP of "Vapire Beast Broodmother"? Or do you have any other best build suggestions that can kill this solo? Thank You.
Being total honest all the builds i showed are so much of powerhouses that sword is more likely a support weapon. I use sword as offhand for the rifle build, you can use sword/pistol if you fancy it that much with this build.
That video shows thief is an extremely spammy profession that I personally find boring in PVE. Lack of utility compared to other professions too. My thief is my go-to character for PVP though.

I would go:

Indeed has very hard trades survivability for dmg comparing to revenant/warrior/necro/engi that the surviving is free
