My 3 year old just got her IEP & was just assigned to a Specialzed Early Preschool Program. She's been in a regular daycare for the last year but the idea of big kid school makes me soooo anxious. Your video really put my mind at ease.
An IEP at that young of an age is one of the best things you can do for your child!! Way to go mom!! She will be in good hands!! ❤️😘 After working in a daycare and then getting a degree in working in a school, there is more funding and staff to provide a better education when you’re in a school. You will see so much growth in her in the next several months. I’m so excited for you!
I’m so happy I found your channel. I will be a 1st year preschool sped teacher in a couple of weeks. What tips can you share. I’m specially nervous about the IEP piece.
Have great respect for you for working two shifts but isn't it physically and especially mentally exhausting....how do you take out time for yourself ...once again lots of respect and love to you ...thank you for all that you do 🙏
Thank you for doing what you do. My oldest just turned 3 on September 30th. She’s severely delayed and just got approved for her IEP class in one of the top 10 elementary schools in my state. She’ll be starting on Monday and goes 5 days a week 😳😳 she’s never been in any kind of daycare so I’ve been super super anxious since getting the phone call letting me know she got approved and she’ll be going the full day every day. I’ve been watching these types of videos non stop all week 😅 I’m not any less anxious but at least I know more of what to expect 😅 I know she’ll be in good hands and she’ll have a large team of therapists and teachers working with her each day so she’ll be fine, me? Probably not so much 😅😅
I went to Bowling Green State University and graduated from their Inclusive Early Childhood Program! This certifies me to teach Pre-K through 3rd grade special Ed students and general Ed students!
@@dayswithms.dunaway2623 wow so you have the opportunity to teach both sped or gen students that’s a blessing and I guess this varies from different states. I am studying education. I’m at college, would you think it’ll be better to do university or stay where I am at ?
I have a question both of my kids are going into life skills classes their ages three and four one has the deGeorge and cerable palsy And the other one has herb palsy along with feeding issues neither one is verbal and both have autism
I was in special education for ADHD. And I had one teacher who I too this day still cant stand her because she forced me to read and I blame her for not liking to read. Could u do a video on IEPS? I still have mine from high school and I dont understand what all it means.
